On the other hand, a ribbed inner cylindrical tube 30, a thin radiation shielding board 35 arranged on the inner periphery of the ribbed inner cylindrical tube 30, a partition wall 6 arranged on the inner periphery of the thin radiation shielding board 35, a rotor 11 arranged on the inner periphery of the partition wall 6, and a shaft 5 supporting the rotor 11 are arranged concentrically each other and thereby they have a common axis 89. The axis 89 is shifted downward by a predetermined extent from the axis 88. According to the constitution, a superconducting magnet assembly is not exposed above the liquid level of liquid helium even if the liquid helium is evaporated thermally and thereby superconducting state can be sustained continuously.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a permanent current switch element which has a high response speed and, further, does not have an influence of heat upon a superconducting magnet part by a method wherein a superconducting wire from which a copper cladding is removed, a heater wire laid along the superconducting wire and a heat shrinkable tube covering both the wires are provided. CONSTITUTION:A permanent current switch element 10 is composed of a superconducting wire 11 whose copper cladding is removed, a heater wire 12 laid along the superconducting wire 11 and a heat shrinkable tube 13 covering both the wires 11 and 12. Then, the above-mentioned permanent current switch element 10 is wound in a bobbin 20 and sealed with resin 30 to constitute a permanent current switch 135. With this constitution, the superconducting wire 11 whose copper cladding is removed and the heater wire 12 are tightly brought into contact with each other by the heat shrinkable tube 13 and, when the heater wire 12 generates heat, quick thermal response can be obtained. Moreover, as the heat shrinkable tube 13 is provided, heat discharged out from the switch 135 can be suppressed. Therefore, the heat does not give influence upon an external apparatus such as a superconducting magnet part.
