CONSTITUTION:A type wheel 5 and a paper feeding mechanism are operated with a DC motor 37 and a paper feed roller 35 and a paper feed ratchet 68 are linked with a spring clutch. A ratchet lever 73 is turned through a projection 12 provided at one end of the type wheel 5 to disengage the paper feed ratchet 68. In this manner, a paper feed means for a printing paper can be driven without using an electric signal from the side of the control circuit.

CONSTITUTION:An ink 6 is applied to the outer peripheral surface of the drum 2 by an ink roller 3 while rotating the drum 2, and the ink 6 is successively brought to a front face of a thermal head 4. The head 4 is operated to generate heat by a controlling signal, the heat is transmitted to the ink 6 through the drum 2, whereby the ink 6 is thermally expanded, a part of the ink corresponding to a printing element generating heat is raised, and is transferred onto the recording paper 1, thereby printing a desired character or image.

摘要： PURPOSE:To achieve a printing with limited power consumption by arranging an arm retaining member on a moving path about a plurality of arms with a bending elasticity after projected on a rotating shaft with a tip print striking element. CONSTITUTION:With the rotation of a rotating shaft 1 and a drum 2, an arm 3 and a spherical body 4 turn while the spherical body 4 is coated with an ink on the front thereof by an ink roller 5 and the arm 3 is retained with a retaining member 6 to be bent backward. Here, as the retaining member 6 is retracted rapidly from the path of moving the arm 3 by a control signal, the spherical body 4 at the point A hits a printing paper 10 at the point B by a rotating force and elastic return force of the arm 3 to perform a dot printing and then, it rotates by the repulsive force and the rotating force thereof passing the point F. When the retaining member 6 is not retracted, the spherical body 4 rotates via the points A, C, E and F and hence, no dot formation is done. Thus, a dot recording is possible with limited power consumption and a simple construction.

摘要： PURPOSE:To permit clear dot recording of sufficient density as well as lessen loads on a printing head by a method in which elastically supported projections are provided on the periphery of a rotary drum, and the supporting portions are struck from inside of the rotary drum. CONSTITUTION:A rotary drum 9 travels on a guide shaft 7, and an ink roller 14 turns while coating ink on projections 12 pressingly contacted and travels with the drum 9. In this case, a printing hammer 6' is driven by the printing head 5 according to signals, and each time the arm 11 comes to recording positions as the drum 9 turns, the projections 13 are selectively struck. The arm 11 is elastically deformed, the projections 12 move forwards, and one dot is transferred to a recording paper 3. Clear dot recording of sufficient density can be obtained, the load on the printing head can be lessened, and power consumption and noise in recording can be reduced.

At the time of printing in red, passing of the current to the solenoid is not immediately stopped, but is continued while the plate 24 is moving in the direction of the arrow C, resulting in that the change-over cam 32 is rotated through the engagement between a rack part 16c of a connecting lever 16 drawn in the direction of an arrow (a) and a gear 32b of the cam 32. When the lever 28 is moved to ride onto the cam part 32a, only the lever 27 and a ratchet 31a are engaged with each other to rotate the ratchet wheel 31 in the reverse direction.

Synchronously with the movement, a type drum 21 is turned, types are pushed out by a hammer, and printing is made while pressing the types on the printing face 27.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent a plurality of inks of different colors from mixing with each other, by a method wherein a cam part in a complementary relationship with a cam part provided on an ink roll case is provided on the carriage side, and ink rolls and a type belt are separated from each other at the time of fitting or detaching the ink roller case. CONSTITUTION:The ink roller case 1 containing the ink rolls 3, 4 of different colors is fitted into a containing space 7d of the carriage, and the fitting process is further proceeded from the condition wherein the case 1 is separated from a type drum 8, resulting in that the cam part 1a provided on the case 1 side is engaged with the cam part 7b provided on the carriage 7 side. A spring 12 is fitted into a recessed part 1c of the case 1, and under an additional pressure of the spring 12, the case 1 is pressed against the drum 8. When detaching the case 1, the engagement between the cam parts 1a, 7b is released, and the case 1 can be taken out under the condition wherein the ink rolls 3, 4 are separated from the drum 8.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable accelerating of a printing speed, by a method wherein, in a printer used with a portable electronic computer, through turning of a cam, whereon projections are positioned in a spiral, a desired type in a type row on a type drum is printed sequentially to a printing paper. CONSTITUTION:Printing projections 14a-14p are provided on a printing cam 14. They, however, are arranged in a spiral, and thereby the projection, which waits in a position allowing it to press a hammer 11, is always only a single piece. With the printing cam 14, an arm 11b of the hammer 11 is pressed, and the hammer 11 rotates clockwise. If the hammer 11 rotates further, it presses a printing paper 47 against a type 100 on a printing drum to conduit a printing. Resulting from the further rotation, a projection 14e stops pressing the arm 11b of the hammer 11 and turns to a position 14d in a drawing. The hammer 1 returns to its initial position to complete a printing.
