The rubber plate 4 is glued to part of the inner circumferential surface of the rubber packing 5 on the side of a shaft and separated from a part of the rubber packing 5 on the side of the ground. A water pressure is exerted onto the surface of the rubber plate 4 to make the rubber plate 4 tightly adhere to a propulsion tube 12 to prevent water leak.

When the mounting jigs 1 reach the given installation positions, a rounded plate spring 10 is extended gradually. Then, the mounting fixtures 1 are pressed against the inside wall of the conduit 4 by the elasticity of the plate spring 10, so that they can be installed in close contact.

SOLUTION: A rubber ring 5 is arranged in the circumferential edge of the opening 4 of a receiver plate 3. The rubber ring 5 is so formed that a rod rubber is formed into a ring shape, clamped between the receiver plate 3 and a presser plate 6, and fixed by a bolt and nut. A fastening band 9 is arranged around the outer circumference of the rubber ring 5. The rubber ring 5 is deformed diametrically inward by contracting the dimension of the ring of the fastening band 9 so as to be brought in a close contact with the circumferential face of the jacking pipe 12. When applying it to a leading body with a deformed section, a rubber ring having a projection is used and brought in close contact with the circumferential face of the leading body having a recess.

By the fitting of a projected portion 81c to a recessed portion 83a, the angle of rotation to the spherical receiver of the spherical cylinder 81 is restricted, and cutting of hydraulic hose 6-4 due to torsion can be prevented.

Current from the transmitter flows to a first conductive passage (conductive wire 24) through a second conductive passage (position detecting terminal 23, conductive wire 26), and a magnetic field is generated from the first conductive passage. Current flowing through the first conductive passage is discharged to the ground through the second conductive passage of the other vertical hole structure 16 and the ground bar. A receiver is moved on the place where a buried passage may be laid, intensity of the magnetic field generated from the conductive wire 24 is measured, and hence position of the buried passage 10 is detected.

By coupling the coupler C4(a) of a hydraulic hose C3(a) with a distance position between the front uncoupling pipe H1 and the rear uncoupling pipe H2, the coupler C4(a) is exposed through movement of the slide pipe H3 even without leaving a slack on a hydraulic hose, a separation work is facilitated.
