    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation measurement device capable of simultaneously measuring radiation levels of agricultural products grown in soils containing K40 and other radioactive substances, which can save efforts and costs.SOLUTION: A radiation measurement device includes: a radiation detector 1 having a scintillator which emits light in response to incident radiation from potassium 40 (K40) and from radioactive substances other than K40, and a photo-diode which detects the light emitted by the scintillator and outputs a detection signal; a main amplifier 6 for amplifying the photo-diode output signal; first and second comparators 7, 8 which are connected to the main amplifier 6 to determine respective energy strength of radiation from K40 and from radioactive substances other than K40; a controller 9 which is connected to the comparators to generate digitized display data representing the amount and spectral profile of radiation from K40 and from radioactive substances other than K40; and a display unit 10 which is connected to the controller to display the display data.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation measuring apparatus capable of more accurately measuring a radiation dose of a test object by reducing a radiation dose of a background.SOLUTION: The radiation measuring apparatus includes: a measurement chamber allowed to store a test object and capable of shielding external radiation; a radiation detector attached to the measurement chamber; a gas supply port and a gas exhaust port installed in the measurement chamber; a supply pipeline for connecting a supply system of inert gas to the gas supply port of the measurement chamber; an adsorbent container filled with adsorbent of radiation substances; an exhaust pipeline for connecting the adsorbent container to the gas exhaust port of the measurement chamber; and a circulation pipeline for returning the inert gas passed through the adsorbent container to the gas supply port of the measurement chamber.
