      SOLUTION: The gas burner (33) has an annular burner body (31). The combustion chamber (20) is arranged in an inside space (32) surrounded by its inside peripheral surface (31a) so as to open only upward. An exhaust cylinder (21) is arranged in an upright attitude in the bottom center in the combustion chamber (20). A plurality of flame holes (35) are formed in the inside peripheral surface (31a) of the burner body (31). A plurality of openings (22) are formed in the peripheral wall of the exhaust cylinder (21) corresponding to a position lower than the flame holes (35).

      SOLUTION: In this heating cooker, a vertical transfer unit is attached to upper and lower units for generating the radiant heat and the conductive heat, so that upper and lower graphite plates are optionally transferred to positions at which distances to the food material from the plates themselves are equal to each other and are short. Further, side covers 41 for a cooking space formed by the upper and lower graphite plates are hung from the upper graphite plate in the direction of the lower graphite plate, because side faces of the cooking space are opened in a housing of an oven case, and therefore, a separated space is formed for the purpose of preventing the heat from being released. Thus, the heating cooker of composite double-sided type is positioned in the oven case, so that the short-time cooking for giving tastiness is realized by heating the food material with the upper and lower graphite plates and simultaneously heating it with the microwaves.
