    • PURPOSE:To specify the dents position corresponding to a broken warp yarn in case of stopping of a weaving machine due to yarn breakage during weaning by vertically displacing a normal warp yarn existing at a prescribed position in correlation to the broken warp yarn and detecting the position in the width direction of weaving. CONSTITUTION:When a weaving machine is stopped due to warp yarn breakage during weaving, a separation member 12 in a waiting state is moved in the width direction of weaving and stopped at a position in the neighborhood of the above-mentioned broken warp yarns 1a and 1b so as to control the movement of healds 5 in a heald frame 4 by a function of a controller based on a position signal of a dropper at a lower-position state. A normal warp yarn 1 existing at a prescribed position in correlation to the above-mentioned broken warp yarns 1a and 1b, i.e., an adjacent position on the left side, is simultaneously drawn upwards by an elevation member 13. A yarn sensor 22 is then moved in the width direction of weaving to detect the above- mentioned warp yarn 1 displaced upwards. The position of the yarn sensor 22 in the width direction of weaving at a point of time of the detection is detected as the position of the warp yarn 1, thus detecting the dents position corresponding to the broken yarns 1a and 1b.

    • PURPOSE: To repair a broken warp yarn in a weaving machine by alternately conducting feeding/receiving of a fresh warp yarn through a threading-in tube moving stepwise over a stop motion wire, a heddle, a reed, or the like, on a warp yarn path. CONSTITUTION: When a warp yarn is broken, a fresh warp yarn 1 is taken out from a spool 10' through a tube 73' and sent to a storage part 75 through an auxiliary tube 72' by clamping with a pair of rollers 74, further passed through a sensor 91, is advanced into a yarn piecing device 75, and the warp yarn sucked/separated from warp yarn 10 through a suction nozzle 81 is connected to a broken warp yarn. Successively, the pair of rollers 74 are reversed and the warp 1 is fed into threading-in tubes 71, 72 by blowing air into the auxiliary tube 72'. The threading-in tubes 71, 72 are moved stepwise over a stop motion wire 21, a heddle 31, a reed 4, a guide 60 on a warp yarn path, at the same time, feeding/receiving of the warp yarn is alternately conducted from one side toward the other side of the parts 21, 31, 4, 60, and the warp yarn is repaired.
