摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide moldings which show excellent biodegradability as well as wet tensile strength. SOLUTION: Non-fibrous components originating from natural organic substances (animal excretion, food and the like) are dispersed between vegetable fiber (wood fiber, linter fiber, bast fiber, stem fiber) to obtain moldings. The moldings are increased in its wet tensile strength by treatment with heat. The relation of the density of the moldings (D) with the wet tensile strength (S) is defined by the following formula (1): S>=3.8×D-1.2... (1) (wherein S is wet tensile strength is MPa; D is density of the moldings in g/cm3).

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regenerate transportation pallets and seedling mats from waste paper or waste corrugated cardboard, while the transportation pallets and the seedling mats are mostly produced from imported wood and wastefully thrown out after used. SOLUTION: Transportation pallets and seedling mats are mainly molded from pulp fibers obtained by dissolving paper materials such as waste paper and corrugated cardboard and subsequently drying the dissolved pulp. Since needing large mechanical strengths, the transportation pallets are produced by stirring and dissolving waste paper, etc., mainly selecting long pulp fibers from the obtained pulp fiber solution and subsequently subjecting the selected long pulp fibers to a compression-molding process using a press machine in the same strength as in a case of wood. The long pulp fibers may be regenerated also into building materials, packing materials, etc., requiring large strengths in addition to the pallets. On the contrary, short pulp fibers are mixed with crushed chaff, a fertilizer, etc., and subsequently reutilized for seedling mats mainly needing proper brittleness and used for paddy rice, etc.

This diaphragm base is impregnated or coated with 1 to 10%, based on the weight of the diaphragm base, of high elasticity resin such as phenol formaldehyde resin, after which it is heat set. Next, films of a metal such as Ni are deposited at 10 to 40% of the weight of the diaphragm base between the respective fibers and on the entire fiber surface, preferably by electroless plating treatment.
