SOLUTION: A reference member 100 is provided in one end of a re-carrying passage, through which a sheet to be carried to an image forming unit again passes, crossing the sheet carrying direction, and a plurality of reference surfaces 102a-102c are stepwise provided in the reference member 100. A side end of each of the sheets having a different size from each other and passing through the re-carrying passage is made to abut on the plurality of reference surfaces 102a-102c to perform positioning of the sheets in the cross direction. A support member 104 is provided in the upstream of obliquely carrying means 101a-101c for obliquely carrying the sheets in a different size, while pushing them to the plurality of reference surfaces 102a-102c for carrying. This support member 104 supports one end of the sheet supported by a support surface 102a extended in the nearly horizontal direction from a lower end of the reference surface 102a and the other end of the sheet at the nearly same height. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of suppressing the floating of a rear end portion in a conveying direction of a recording material with a higher accuracy.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a photoreceptor drum which is rotatably disposed and holds an image on the outer peripheral surface; a transfer drum which is rotatably disposed so that the outer peripheral surface faces the outer peripheral surface of the photoreceptor drum and transfers the image held at a transfer part by the photoreceptor drum; a front end gripper which rotates in synchronization with the transfer drum and holds a front end portion in the conveying direction of the recording material conveyed to the transfer part; and a paper suppressing part 231 for suppressing a rear end portion in the conveying direction of the recording material held by the front end gripper from floating which is arranged opposing to the outer peripheral surface of the transfer drum and can move relatively to the transfer drum. The paper suppressing part 231 has a width in the rotation shaft direction of the transfer drum and can face the recording material, and among areas capable of facing the recording material, an area facing the rear end portion in the conveying direction of the recording material is larger than an area not facing the rear end portion of conveyed paper.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring a rotation amount of a rotor and displacement in an axis-orthogonal direction, without providing a dedicated sensor for measuring the displacement in the axial orthogonal direction of the rotor.
SOLUTION: In this rotation measuring device, a sensor outputs one-cycle sine wave at every rotation of a member to be detected, as a combination of the member to be detected rotating by itself synchronously with a rotating shaft member of the rotor and the sensor for detecting its characteristic, and the sensor changes the amplitude of the sine wave as the member to be detected is moved in the axis-orthogonal direction together with the rotor. As one example of the combination, a combination of the member 510 to be detected and distance sensors (511, 512) shown in Fig.1 can be enumerated. The displacement in the axis-orthogonal direction of the rotor is calculated based on a variation of the amplitude of the sine wave, while calculating the rotation amount of the rotor based on the sine wave outputted from the sensor in such a combination.
