    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device which is improved in the feeding performance of sheets by improving the setting performance of sheets in a feed cassette, and to provide an image forming device.
      SOLUTION: This sheet feeding device has: a feeding cassette 5, having a sheet tip regulating member 23 for guiding the tip of a sheet S to a sheet stacking surface 20 and an urging spring 25 for urging the sheet tip regulating member 23 in one direction; an abutting member 35 for pressing the sheet tip regulating member 23 against in the other direction; and a pair of positioning bosses 34a and 34b for positioning the feeding cassette 5. The sheet tip regulating member 23 has a guide surface 23a, vertical to the sheet stacking surface 20. When the feeding cassette 5 is to be installed, the feeding cassette 5 is positioned by the positioning bosses 34a and 34b, and the abutting member 35 presses the sheet tip regulating member 23 against, to form the inclined guide surface 23'. As a result, this structure improves the performance of setting sheets S in the feed cassette 5 and the performance of feeding the sheets S.
