摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which properly corrects a curl caused in paper in double-sided printing.SOLUTION: This image forming device 1 includes a guide member 70 arranged in a carrying passage to a paper ejecting roller 57 from a fixing part 50 for correcting the curl of the paper PA, and a carrying speed control unit for controlling an upstream side carrying speed being a carrying speed of the paper PA by the fixing part 50 arranged on the upstream side of the guide member 70 and a downstream side carrying speed being a carrying speed of the paper PA by the paper ejecting roller 57 arranged on the downstream side of the guide member 70. The carrying speed control unit sets the downstream side carrying speed larger than the upstream side carrying speed in printing a first surface of a double-sided printing mode, and sets the upstream side carrying speed and the downstream side carrying speed so that the difference between both of the upstream side carrying speed and the downstream side carrying speed becomes smaller than the difference between both in the printing of the first surface in printing of a second surface of the double-sided printing mode.

摘要： A decurler apparatus in a machine changes sheet bending direction away from image (AI) to toward image (TI) direction by use of tandem gates and bending baffles to direct copy papers to different decurling paths to reduce copy curl. A controller automatically determines the optimum decurling path for an individual copy paper according to sensor inputs derived from the paper basis weight, color layers, image area coverage and relative humidity. An operator control feature is included that allows operators to reduce output curl of out-of-specification papers through push-buttons on a machine control panel.
