    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a carburetor capable of mounting the carburetor with a stud bolt even though only a narrow space exists outside the outer end of the stud bolt.
      SOLUTION: The stud bolt 25 is fitted to a carburetor mounting section 20, and a screw hole 27 is also formed at the carburetor mounting section 20. Second bolt holes 32 and 32 in which first bolt holes 31' and 31 penetrate by the stud bolt 25 and a tap bolt 26 meshed with the screw hole 27 penetrate are formed at first and second mounting flanges 28 and 29, respectively, and the first bolt hole 31' is formed into a notch shape where the stud bolt 25 can be inserted from the outside of the first mounting flange 28 to the first bolt hole 31'.

    • PURPOSE:To cause the shape of the inlet of a suction passage to match properties of an engine merely through replacement of an air horn with another one in a different shape, by detachably fitting the air horn in an annular recess formed in the end part of a carbureter body. CONSTITUTION:An annular recess 14 is provided in the end part at the upstream side of a suction passage 2, and the air horn 15, having a tranpet-shaped inner peripheral surface forming an inlet 2b for the suction passage 2, is detachably fitted in the recess 14 through a seal member 16. A number of the air horns 15 being different in the shape of the inlet 2b are prepared, and any air horn matching properties of an engine is selected therefrom to fit it in the recess 14. An annular groove 18, forming an annular passage 17 in the recess 14, is provided in the inner end surface of the air horn 15, the groove 18 being communicated to the inlet 2b through a notched communicating hole 19 in the inner peripheral wall thereof.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend filter life and reduce filter maintenance frequency or the like, by suppressing or reducing mixed fuel that back flows from a carburetor.SOLUTION: An air cleaner comprises: a fuel storage 30 formed near, and so as to surround, a cleaner outlet 20 provided in a cleaner bottom wall 15A located toward a carburetor, the fuel storage being adapted to store mixed fuel that back flows from the carburetor; a back flow guide member 19 that guides the mixed fuel that back flows into the air cleaner via the cleaner outlet 20 not toward a filter but toward the fuel storage 30; and return flow channels 41, 42, 43, 44 each of which comprises one end that is in communication with the fuel storage 30 and another end that is in communication with the cleaner outlet 20 so as to return the fuel stored in the fuel storage 30 back toward the carburetor utilizing intake negative pressure. The plurality of return flow channels 41, 42, 43, 44 are formed in a radial manner about the cleaner outlet 20, wherein upper end surface has a sloped surface that slopes downward toward the cleaner outlet 20.
