摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of closely contacting an article surface below a liquid level and moving along the article surface, comprising two gas areas for bringing the article surface into contact with only gas, and a device for acting on the article surface in the gas areas. SOLUTION: This device capable of moving along the article surface while closely contacting the article surface situated in liquid comprises a main casing equipped with at least an outside casing and an inside casing; an outer seal member attached to an opening of the outside casing and brought into contact with the article surface at one portion; an inner seal member attached to the opening of the inside casing and brought into contact with the article surface at one portion; a means capable of maintaining a distance between the main casing and the article surface to an arbitrary distance and moving along the article surface. At least the outside casing, the outer seal member, and the inner seal member cooperate with the article surface so as to define a first area.
