    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a new plate mounting accuracy towards a twisting (right and left) direction by a method wherein the tip bent part of the new plate is precisely and surely inserted in the groove part of a plate cylinder. SOLUTION: The new plate 5 held in a loader 2 is supplied to the plate cylinder 6 so as to abut the tip bent part 5a of the new plate 5 against a roller 3 oppositely contacting with the plate cylinder 6 in order to insert the tip bent part in the groove part 32 of the plate cylinder 6. Until the tip bent part 5a is inserted in the groove part 32, the roller 3 is braked by a pressing member 4 so as to suppress its rotation.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate replacement device which can deal with an issue of oversize printing plates. SOLUTION: A loader in a first position near a printing unit 100 is set apart from the latter and located to a third position between the first position and a second position. The loader 7 of a first perpendicular state is set to a third state tilted only by an angle (α). Further, the loader 7 is transferred in the arrow (F) direction (the lower side of an overall length) and then is transferred in the arrow A direction to allow the loader 7 to approach the printing unit 100.
