    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively repair a defect around a cooling hole in a high temperature component without closing the cooling hole and causing deformation due to repair. SOLUTION: This high temperature component defect repairing method for repairing cracks 21 as a defect around the cooling hole 20 in the stationary blade 11 of a gas turbine operated in a high temperature condition, comprises a washing step of washing and removing an oxide layer 23 produced on the surface of the crack 21, an insertion step of inserting an insertion material 22 into the cooling hole 20 to close the cooling hole 20, a brazing step of using a brazing repairing material 24 for brazing the crack 21 with diffusion heat treatment, and an after-treatment step of removing the insertion material 22 therefrom and applying finishing work to the surface of the stationary blade 11.
