    • PURPOSE:To obtain strong damping forces to match a rotor body by permitting a permanent magnet to move freely in the horizontal direction and to be held centripetally, under the condition that a minute liquid film is provided for the magnet. CONSTITUTION:A permanent magnet 13 is held by a support member 14 capable of making centripetal action, such as a spring or the like. The permanent magnet 13, magnetized in polarity, restricts the position of a permanent magnet 2 in the radial direction, i.e. the position of the top end of a rotor body 1 in the radial direction, due to magnetic repulsion caused against a permanent magnet 2. Further, the support member 14 forms a minute liquid film in the horizontal direction, which produces a shear effect between the bottom face of the permanent magnet 13 and the inside bottom wall of a liquid bath 11. Therefore, said magnet is held in such that a minute clearance 15 may exist to make it possible to obtain strong damping forces to match the rotor body 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the volume of a waste liquid, to eliminate the parts held without washing, to lessen unbalance vibration, to improve an apparatus life and to enhance working efficiency by improving the washing efficiency in a separating vessel. SOLUTION: This machine for sepn. of solid from liquid is constituted by providing the front surface of a shielding slab 1 with a bearing box 2, supporting a revolving shaft 5 by means of the upper bearing 3 and lower bearing 4 in the bearing box, suspending the revolving shaft 5 below the shielding slab 1 and fixing the cylindrical separating vessel 7 arranged in the casing to the bottom end thereof. In such a case, a fiber scope 21 is inserted as a device for monitoring the inside surface of the separating vessel 7. The fiber scope 21 is connected to a monitor device 22. In case the unbalance is induced by the partial adhesion of solid-contents to the separating vessel 7 during the sepn operation, the specification of the adhesion position by the fiber scope 21 is possible. Since the washing is executable by concentrating the adhesion positions in the case of washing, the execution of the efficient washing is assured and the volume of the waste liquid is decreased.

    • PURPOSE:To suppress the conduction of the heat generated in the rotor of a motor to the main body of a rotary body, by providing a heat resistance increasing part to the flange part positioned between the rotor and the main body of the rotary body. CONSTITUTION:When hysteresis motor 17 is energized, a rotor 9 is rotated and a rotary body main body 1 is rotated with the rotation of the rotor 9. Herein, when the motor 17 is energized, the rotor 9 generates heat by eddy current loss and the heat is ready to be conducted to the rotary body main body 1 through the flange part 3 of a shaft 2. In this case, since the flange part 3 is formed into a pulley shape and a hole 8 is provided to the axial center part of a center shaft part 5, the cross-sectional area of the heat conducting route reaching the rotary body main body 1 from the rotor 9 becomes an extremely small value as compared with a columnar flange part. That is, a heat resistance increasing part is formed to the flange part 3 and the heat generated in the rotor 9 becomes difficult to be conducted to the main body 1.

    • PURPOSE:To suppress the occurrence of a continuous self-excited vibration, by setting the vertical rigidity of low rigidity elements in a rotary member body existing at plural positions in the axial direction smaller toward the upper position. CONSTITUTION:A rotary body 1 is constructed with high rigidity elements 2a, 2b, 2c and low rigidity elements 3a, 3b having lower rigidity for coupling the high rigidity elements 2a, 2b, 2c in series. The vertical rigidity k1 of the low rigidity element 3a located at an upper position is set lower than the vertical rigidity k2 of the low rigidity element 3b located at lower position. Since the rigidity k2 of the lower element is increased, the vibration suppressing effect of a thrust damper 9 can be derived and the modal damping against a continuous self-excited vibration can be increased drastically. Consequently, the occurrence of continuous self-excited vibration can be suppressed and the speed can be increased safely upto a rated rotation.
