    • PURPOSE:To make continuous ion plating possible so as to increase the productivity, by equipping a vacuum vessel therein a mechanism for holding plural piled up substrates to be ion plated, a mechanism for holding substrates having been treated, and mechanisms for conveying the substrates between the two mechanisms described above. CONSTITUTION:A door 10 for carrying substrates into a vacuum vessel 1 is opened, plural masked substrates 23 are set on a substrate-holding mechanism 24A. After the door is closed and the vessel 1 is shut airtightly, the vessel 1 is evacuated. A prescribed voltage is applied to substrate holders 60A, 60B, and to an ion-cleaning electrode 25 etc. so as to clean the surfaces of the substrates 23 by ion bombardment. Thereafter, a conveying mechanism 70 is moved forward two times repeatedly in the direction of an arrow B to convey the most upper substrate 23 to the substrate holders 60B, 60A. Then the substrate 23 is ion plated with a metal vaporized from crucibles 40A, 40B. After completion of the ion plating, the substrate 23 is carried to a substrate-holding mechanism 24B by the conveying mechanism 70. All substrates 23 are ion plated by the repetition of the operation.

    • PURPOSE:To cut the wound wire at the portion near a terminal and to begin the next wire-winding operation immediately after the previous winding operation, by combining a tension-keeping action and cutting action of wire by a cam at a specified timing. CONSTITUTION:A tip 112a of a sliding member 112 is pushed toward a small block 108 against a force of a pulling spring 114. Then, a rack gear 115 is moved, a pinion is rotated, and a cutting lever 110 which is extended in the lateral direction is rotated on a vertical shaft. Wire is cut at the vicinity of a terminal with the cooperation of the lever 110 and the final terminal when the lever 110 crosses the wire which has been wound on the last terminal according to the wire-winding pattern of a core. Thereafter, the pushing of the tip 112a of the lever 110 is released, the lever 110 is rotated into the reverse direction and returned to the original position by the action of the spring 114. After the wire has been cut, since the wire is held by a wire holder and is continued from the holder to a wire feeding nozzle in the tightened state, the next winding operation can be readily begun.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the working efficiency of the manufacture of a transformer by a method comprising precisely drawing out one by one cores fitted with terminals from the magazine, delivering them safely and automatically to a core chuck to be chcked, and continuously supplying them to an automatic winder. CONSTITUTION:A magazine 4 consists of a hollow member 12, the shaft 15 of a core 5 fitted with a terminal is guided by a cut-out 13 along the entire length at the front surface, and the groove 19 of a guide 18 at the rear surface is engaged with the terminal of the core to block the rotation of the core. Shutters 62 and 63 are fitted to a bracket 61 in a slidable manner, and at the front surfaces of shutters there are provided locking claws 66 and 67 facing each other alternately at predetermined intervals. Shutters 62 and 63 are attracted to each other by means of a spring 27, and by the rotation of a drive shaft 45, the cam and lever act to release the locking thereof, and the cores 5 fall one by one at every half pitch of the claw. The cores 5 come into abutment with the stopper 83b of a movable claw 83 through locating member and are accepted thereby. The claw 83 moves in connection with the drive shaft 45 by an arm 93 and a spring 94, and advances toward the chuck together the claw holding plate 91 and the claws, thereby to deliver the cores to the chuck and supply the same to a winder.
