Thus, the state for executing the sequential toner replenishing control and the state for stopping the toner replenishing control can be switched in accordance with the existence of operator's operation of the electrophotographing device and the waiting time can be shortened.

摘要： PURPOSE:To easily set threshold density by preparing a reference original and performing easy operation by providing an original density reading means which the original density of the reference original which has two kinds of gradations and a threshold density storage means which stores two kinds of read gradational original density as the threshold density. CONSTITUTION:When an exposure lamp 4 lights under the control of a CPU 11 at the time of threshold density setting and original density detection, a photosensor 6 photodetects reflected light from an original A. The CPU 11, therefore, obtains digital data on the density of this original A through an A/D converter 14. The threshold density storage means RAM 16 is stored with the two kinds of gradational original density read by this original density read means as the threshold density. Those two kinds of threshold density which are stored are referred to at the time of the original density detection and the original density detecting device determines the original density of the original according to data which are read by the optical sensor 6 and within the range. The original density is determined by averaging data only in an area where effective data are obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To remove the frequency component of a signal from a lamp driving source without installing a complicated circuit by providing the detected signal processing circuit of an original density detecting sensor with a prescribed filter. CONSTITUTION:Light reflected by an original 2 makes incident on an optical sensor 1 being an original detecting sensor. According to a method to detect density based on a signal detecting the prescribed range of the original 2, the sensor 1 arranged below the reflector 3 of a light source receives reflected light from the original 2 of a length l through a slit provided on the reflector 3, and an AMP4 amplifies its output signal and passes it through a low-pass filter 5. Then, an A/D converter 6 digitizes the signal and a CPU fetches it. By installing the filter 5, the noise of a power source frequency component from the signal outputted from the sensor can be removed, and only the detecting signal corresponding to original density is outputted to the converter 6.
