SOLUTION: The paper post-processing device 1 is provided with an aligning tray 41 sequentially receiving and guiding paper sheets delivered from a paper delivery part of an image forming device 100, a standard fence 23 for abutting a tip of the paper sheet guided by the aligning tray 41 and aligning the tip of each sheet of paper, and a roller unit 50 having a return roller 22 conveying the paper sheet toward the standard fence 23. The return roller 22 rotates while pressing the paper sheet against the aligning tray 41 to convey the paper sheet, and after the tip of paper sheet abuts on the standard fence 23, the return roller 22 separates away from the aligning tray 41 and moves to a withdrawn position. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect that needle jam treatment is carried out, prevent no-load driving and eliminate nonconformity due to no-load driving. SOLUTION: A needle cartridge 32 is extracted from a stapler 16 at the time when needle jamming occurs on the stapler 16. Thereafter, a face plate 34 provided on the needle cartridge 32 is opened by pressing a lock lever 35. Thereafter, a jammed needle 36 inside is taken in. After then, the needle cartridge 32 is reset on the stapler 16 by closing the face plate 34. A cartridge setting sensor detects this connection and disconnection. A control part judges from output of this cartridge setting sensor that needle jam treatment is carried out.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prohibit the operation of a motor-driven stapler and prevent the occurrence of a stapling error by providing a unit connection output means for detecting whether the motor-driven stapler is mounted within a device for the use thereof in such a state as built into the device or the like. SOLUTION: A post-treatment device attached to an image forming device has a stapler unit, and the connector of a wire harness is coupled to an input and output terminal for operating the stapler unit. Also, the stapler unit is internally provided with a unit connection output means 92 as a unit detection part, and the wire harness connector is also coupled to the means 92. According to this construction, the unit detection signal of the stapler unit is sent to a main control panel via the wire harness and when the stapler unit is demounted, the unit detection signal is not sent to the main control panel. Thus, a signal is outputted to the effect that a subsequent stapling process cannot be performed.

With this constitution, the motor 122 is controlled by one direction rotation, and the selector guide plate 116 is rocked by the pin 117a, thus a changeover of the conveyor route is accurately performed.
