    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frictional resistance reduction device for a vessel that maintains main engine efficiency by suitably supplying exhaust gas to a supercharger, controls a jetting state of gas jetting to a portion near a hull in particular by using bypass gas and restricts diffusion of air bubbles near a bottom without becoming an obstacle to an operation of the vessel.SOLUTION: A frictional resistance reduction device for a vessel includes: a supercharger 11 supplying gas jetting to a portion near a hull under a draft line of the vessel; a gas jetting port 40 jetting gas; a navigation state detection part 500 detecting a navigation state of the vessel under water; and a control device 200 controlling a jetting state of the gas supplied from the supercharger 11 in accordance with a detection result of the navigation state detection part 500. The navigation state detection part 500 is installed in a place that is not affected by the jetted gas.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hull frictional resistance reduction device capable of efficiently making a bubble flow for reducing hull frictional resistance flow rearward along an outer face of a bottom shell by synergistic action of gas which is pressed into water from bottom part openings without bottom plates of gas chambers in a bow bottom part and relatively flows rearward and gas holding plates along bottom both side parts, without providing a bubble generation part, such as a conventionally used bottom plate having a large number of small holes and a mesh, as a means for making a bubble flow flow rearward along a bottom lower face during sailing.
      SOLUTION: In the bow bottom part, the gas chambers 2a capable of emitting gas downward are aligned in the beam direction, and a high-pressure gas supply source 8 connected to the gas chambers 2a via gas flow rate control parts D and piping 3 is provided. Inside of the gas chambers 2a is opened into water via the bottom part openings without bottom plates, and baffle plates 16 receiving jets from the piping 3 are provided inside the gas chambers 2a.

The characteristic curve data show inflection lines, crest lines, auxiliary crest lines, the respective curved shapes of the inflection lines, the crest lines and the auxiliary crest lines, and distributions of inflection points on the inflection lines, apexes on the crest lines, and auxiliary apexes on the auxiliary crest lines.

The bubble jet ports are formed on the hull outer plate portions corresponding to the respective division chambers 2a and jet the bubble of high pressure gas fed from a compressor. For uniformity of distribution of the bubble along the outer plate of the vessel bottom, feeding of the high pressure gas to the respective division chambers 2a is controlled based on information from a rolling sensor of the hull.
