    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of sufficiently reducing the friction resistance of a hull during the navigation while rationally feeding a high-pressure gas for generating bubbles by providing a bubble generation unit for allowing a large number of bubbles to flow along a lower side of a ship bottom during the navigation on a forward bottom part, and preventing deviation of the bubbles from the ship bottom surface to the sides thereof during the rolling of the hull.
      SOLUTION: In a forward part, a gas chamber 2 formed inboard the ship bottom is divided into a plurality of divisions 2a in the width direction of the ship bottom. A bubble jet port is formed in a hull shell plating part 1a corresponding to each division 2a to jet bubbles of the high-pressure gas to be fed from an air compressor 8. The feed of the high-pressure gas to each division 2a is controlled based on information from a rolling sensor for unifying the distribution of the bubbles along the ship bottom shell plating, and a pair of right and left bubble holding plates 15 are protruded from a lower side of the ship bottom in order to prevent sidewise leakage of the bubbles during the rolling of the hull.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hull frictional resistance reduction device capable of efficiently making a bubble flow for reducing hull frictional resistance flow rearward along an outer face of a bottom shell by synergistic action of gas which is pressed into water from bottom part openings without bottom plates of gas chambers in a bow bottom part and relatively flows rearward and gas holding plates along bottom both side parts, without providing a bubble generation part, such as a conventionally used bottom plate having a large number of small holes and a mesh, as a means for making a bubble flow flow rearward along a bottom lower face during sailing.
      SOLUTION: In the bow bottom part, the gas chambers 2a capable of emitting gas downward are aligned in the beam direction, and a high-pressure gas supply source 8 connected to the gas chambers 2a via gas flow rate control parts D and piping 3 is provided. Inside of the gas chambers 2a is opened into water via the bottom part openings without bottom plates, and baffle plates 16 receiving jets from the piping 3 are provided inside the gas chambers 2a.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of sufficiently performing reduction of friction resistance of a hull in navigation while accomplishing rationalization of feeding of a high pressure gas for bubble generation by dispersingly performing arrangement of a local gas chamber provided in a vessel width direction for jetting the bubble from a bubble jetting port in a hull outer plate surface of a vessel bottom part in a vessel longitudinal direction and by suitably performing feeding of the high pressure gas to respective division chambers in rolling of the hull by dividing the respective gas chambers to a plurality of division chambers over the vessel width direction.
      SOLUTION: The gas chambers 2 formed in a vessel over a width direction of the vessel bottom part are arranged so as to be dispersed in the vessel longitudinal direction and are divided to the plurality of division chambers 2a over the width direction of the vessel bottom part. The bubble jet ports are formed on the hull outer plate portions corresponding to the respective division chambers 2a and jet the bubble of high pressure gas fed from a compressor. For uniformity of distribution of the bubble along the outer plate of the vessel bottom, feeding of the high pressure gas to the respective division chambers 2a is controlled based on information from a rolling sensor of the hull.
