    • PURPOSE:To reduce gas consumption by exhausting only the purge gas and to shorten filling time of the gas by arranging sealing mechanism to throat part connecting each treatment furnace in the continuous annealing equipment in order to shut off flowing of the purge gas. CONSTITUTION:In each heat treatment furnace 7, 7... composed of a heating zone 2, soaking zone 3, cooling zone 4 and overaging zones 5, 6, a steel strip 20 is conveyed through guide rollers 12 to execute the continuous annealing. In the continuous annealing equipment 1, the seal mechanism 9 for shutting off the flowing of the purge gas is arranged to the throat part 8 connecting each heat treatment furnace 7. In the case of executing the repair of this continuous annealing equipment 1, by working the sealing mechanisms 9 at inlet and outlet sides of the repairing heat treatment furnace 7, the repairing heat treatment furnace is shut off from the other heat treatment furnace and the purge gas is supplied. Thereafter, the repairing is executed by opening the heat treatment furnace 7. After repairing, the purge gas is supplied into the heat treatment furnace 7, and then, the sealing mechanism 9 is opened and by communicating with the other heat treatment furnace, the annealing is restarted.

    • PURPOSE:To manufacture the high magnetic induction flux ultralow iron loss directionality electromagnetic steel plate having excellent workability by a method wherein the quantity of the inner oxide layers distributed within a specific range of depth from the metallic surface of a steel plate is not to exceed a specific quantity in the oxygen content within this thickness region while having the iron loss value not exceeding a specific value. CONSTITUTION:Within the manufacturing method, 100wt.% of MgO as a separating agent in annealing step is coated with another separating agent whereto 2-30wt.% of exceeding one or two kinds of chloride, carbonate, nitrate, sulfate, sulfide such as Li, k, Na, Ba, Ca, Mg, Zn, Fe, Zr, Sn, Sr, Al, etc., and then annealed in the atmosphere until the heat equalizing time during the heating up step using at least exceeding 30% of N2+H2 meeting the final finish annealing requirementa so as to form an insulating film after linearly or dottedly scratching the surface making an angle of 45-90 degree in the rolling direction before or after the heat flattening step. Through these procedures, the title high magnetic induction flux ultra low iron loss directionality electromagnetic steel plate having excellent workability but no glass (forsterite) film can be manufactured.

    • PURPOSE:To plate a pressure roll at a high efficiency and high performance by successively providing a vertical type electrolytically degreasing tank, an alkali rinsing tank, a plating tank and a plating rinsing tank and traveling a transfer placing machine for hanging the pressure roll to the upper parts of the respective tanks. CONSTITUTION:A vertical type electrolytically degreasing tank 3, an alkali rinsing tank 4, a plating tank 5 and a plating rinsing tank 6 are buried rectilinearly and successively at intervals of about 5m to the lower part having water level lower than the floor level L of a building of a roll plating equipment. Further a trestle 8 is provided to the upper parts of the respective tanks and a freely elevatable transfer placing machine 2 for hanging a pressure roll is traveled. ln this constitution, the pressure roll 1 is hung by the freely elevatable transfer placing machine 2 and traveled on the trestle 8 in a roll hanging place 7. The pressure-roll 1 is successively immersed in the tank 3, the tank 4, the tank 5 and the tank 6 and treatment is performed. Thereby plating thickness on the surface of the roll is uniformed and efficiency of plating work is enhanced.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain good steel strip products with eliminating the unstabilized straightening part generated on a strip steel at the operation starting and finishing times by giving to a leveller roll the specified state of rolling reduction at the operation starting and finishing times. CONSTITUTION:The operation is executed by arranging a deflector roll 3 on the outlet side of leveller roll group 2, speed detector 4, the intermesh setters 9, 10, 11, 12 to perform position setting and the arithmetic unit 13 to set up the intermesh of each leveller roll 5, 6, 7, 8 according to the movement of the strip steel with operating the strip steels position by speed detecting signal. At the operation starting time of the tension leveller, the rolling reduction is applied by bringing into contact with the strip steel the rolls in order from the leveller roll 5 of the inlet side by setting to the passing through the prescribed position of the strip steel and at the completion time the rolls are released in order from the strip steel from the leveller roller of the inlet side by setting to the passing through the prescribed position of the strip steel. The camber and shape change at the starting and finishing times of tension levelling are thus prevented.
