摘要： PURPOSE:A moving steel pipe is detected in material thickness and speed variations and the detection is used together with the calculation formula to calculate welding heat to be inputted. The result is used to control the actual heat input to provide a good weiding free of penetration and cold welding. CONSTITUTION:The thickness of steel belt 1 is measured by the gage 4 midway the uncoiler 2 and the forming rolls 3, and the measured thickness t is inputted into the microcomputer 5. The pipe making speed of steel pipe 8 induction-welded by the work coil 6 and the squeeze roll 7 is measured by contacting the measuring roll 9, and the measured speed signal is inputted into the computer 5 as speed v and tracking signal TR. There, welding heat to be inputted is caculated, and the calculated result is used to control first voltage of the high frequency welder system 10 so as to meet the calculation. Thus, the process enables an automatic control of adequate weld heat input that correspond to the actual thickness and speed variations.

摘要： PURPOSE:To plate a pressure roll at a high efficiency and high performance by successively providing a vertical type electrolytically degreasing tank, an alkali rinsing tank, a plating tank and a plating rinsing tank and traveling a transfer placing machine for hanging the pressure roll to the upper parts of the respective tanks. CONSTITUTION:A vertical type electrolytically degreasing tank 3, an alkali rinsing tank 4, a plating tank 5 and a plating rinsing tank 6 are buried rectilinearly and successively at intervals of about 5m to the lower part having water level lower than the floor level L of a building of a roll plating equipment. Further a trestle 8 is provided to the upper parts of the respective tanks and a freely elevatable transfer placing machine 2 for hanging a pressure roll is traveled. ln this constitution, the pressure roll 1 is hung by the freely elevatable transfer placing machine 2 and traveled on the trestle 8 in a roll hanging place 7. The pressure-roll 1 is successively immersed in the tank 3, the tank 4, the tank 5 and the tank 6 and treatment is performed. Thereby plating thickness on the surface of the roll is uniformed and efficiency of plating work is enhanced.
