    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide visual heating and to prevent the occurrence of an unsafe action by tentacle, in a heating device using a radiation element generating no light.
SOLUTION: The heating device is provided with a light source 46 disposed in the vicinity of the radiation element; a surface temperature guessing means 42 having a heating capacity detecting part; a control part 41 to change a quantity of light of a light source 46 based on an indication value determined by the surface temperature guessing means 42. The heating device is designed to light a light source 46 and effect indirect light emission of the approximate whole of a radiation element and obtain a visual heating feeling and prevent the occurrence of an unsafe action by tentacle.

    • PURPOSE:To make an apparatus more versatile with respect to its applicability to different environmental conditions and different objects for heating by making the apparatus controllable in two modes, one mode being a room temperature-controlling mode and the other mode being a PMV control mode, according to a method which enables the user to prefer either the control to keep the room temperature constant or the control to effect the heating in the neutral condition of neither being hot nor being cold. CONSTITUTION:On the basis of the output of a room temperature-detecting part 2, the output of a radiant heat-detecting part 8, the amount of the combustion at a combustion part 4, and the amount of the air from a convection fan 5 a PMV extrapolation part 21 extrapolates an extrapolated PMV value. A first comparison output part 23 compares the output of the PMV extrapolation part 21 with the output of a PMV=0 part 22 in which the PMV value has preliminarily been set at 0. On the other hand, a second comparison output part 24 compares the output of a temperature-setting part 20 with the output of the room temperature- detecting part 2. On the basis of the respective outputs of the first and second comparison output parts 23, 24 a combustion amount-setting part 26 controls the combustion part 4 and the convection fan 5. For information to be inputted to the combustion amount-setting part 26 either of the respective outputs of the first and second comparison output parts 23, 24 is preferred. In this manner either the room temperature control or the PMV control is used to make the heating most suited to the occasion.

    • PURPOSE:To recognize correctly the state of space heating that is neutral and pleasant by the thermal balance in human body and the feeling of neither hotness nor coldness by outputting the output of a PMV calculation section to a PMV display section according to the range indicated by threshold value of PMV value. CONSTITUTION:The PMV calculation section 12 of a combustion control section 16 calculates the degree of pleasantness by inputting the temperature of a room temperature detection section 2, radiation by a radiation detection section 9, quantity of fuel consumption by a combustion section 5, blast volume of a convection fan 6, angle of a louver 11, etc. And a quantity of fuel consumption setting section 14 controls the combustion section 5, convection fan 6, and louver 11 respectively by the output of the PMV calculation section 12. Here the state in which PMV=0 means the state of thermal balance in human body and more than 95% of people feel pleasant. Further, a display judgement section 13 compares the output of the PMV calculation section 12 with a specified threshold value. Furthermore, a PMV display section 15 outputs display according to the output of the display judgement section 13. With this arrangement the proper and neutral state in which neither coldness nor hotness is felt is exactly recognized.

    • PURPOSE:To be able to attempt early stabilization of the temperature of a carburetor and at the same time to suppress a wasteful use of the fuel and a rise in the room temperature that is more than necessary by providing a carburetor provided with a heater for vaporization of the liquid fuel and a carburetor temperature sensor which detects the temperature of the carburetor. CONSTITUTION:The thermistor 1a of a room temperature sensor 1 sends room temperature signals to a microcomputer 8 through an A/D converter section 7. Switches 2a and 2b for UP and DOWN of a room temperature setting section 2 send room temperature setting signals to a microcomputer 8 through an A/D converter section 9. The microcomputer 8 has a combustion control section 3 and a strong combustion time setting section 6, and it controls a burner 4 and the heater 11 of the carburetor according to a program which is beforehand specified based on the output from the room temperature setting section 2, and since it changes the time of strong combustion which is forced at the time of starting combustion according to the carburetor temperature, it is possible to stabilize the carburetor temperature early and at the same time to prevent wasteful use of the fuel and a rise in the room temperature that is more than necessary.
