摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent oil whirl without sacrifice of jackup capacity by making an oil groove communicating with another oil groove but not communicating with oil supply hole in the bearing face at lower half section. CONSTITUTION:A journal sliding bearing 21 is comprised of upper and lower metals 1a, 1b where oil grooves 9, 9a, 9b making gap against the shaft are made in the bearing faces of each metal 1a, 1b and a portion of lower metal 1b. While oil grooves 22a, 22b communicating with the oil grooves 9a, 9b but not communicating with the jackup oil supply groove 6 are made in the bearing face of lower metal 1b. Since an area of larger gap than normal bearing gap is provided on the bearing face, the oil film pressure is reduced to reduce the load capacity thus to increase the eccentricity under same operational condition resulting in increase of stability against an oil pump.

摘要： PURPOSE:To raise the loading ability of an oil film between a shaft and a floating bush, and to improve bearing function thereof, by forming oil grooves on the outer circumferential surface of a shaft, averting the loaded side, as to be connected to an outlet of an oil supplying port which is formed in a shaft. CONSTITUTION:On the outer circumferential surface of a shaft 1, oil grooves 11a, 11b are formed as to be connected to a port 1c. The oil groove 11a is formed around the center position of the width of a bush 4, in the partial angular width along the circumferential direction, centering around the angular point which is right-angled to the load W direction. Then, the oil groove 11b is formed along the shaft direction, around the angular point which is right-angled to the load direction, within the narrower range than the shaft direction width of the sliding surface. These two oil grooves 11a, 11b are connected to the port 1c, and they are formed in such positions as to avert the loaded side.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable conversion into bearing load, display, record, and monitor, and prevent accident of rotary machine, by detecting the oil film pressure of oil film bearing on a rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:One or plural pressure taps 3, 3', 3'' are provided in an oil film bearing 1 of a rotary machine, from which a guide tube is led, and a pressure detector 5 is connected behind a valve 4, and electric signals are taken out from a transducer 6. On the other hand, a thermocouple 7 and an amplifier 8 are provided to detect the temperature of the bearing oil film. Besides, in order to take out the rotating speed signal, a rotation detecting device 9 is provided. These signals are led from a static load converter 10 out into a static load display device 13, and, in order to improve the frequency characteristic, is guided from a dynamic load converter 11 into a dynamic load display device 14 through a frequency characteristic converter 12. The signals inputted into the display devices 13, 14 are inputted into discriminator and recorder. If abnormality is found, necessary signals are sent into an alarm device or a stopping device 16, so that adequate countermeasures may be done.

Notched portions are formed from a high pressure area A side in the end surfaces of the inner peripheral surface side and the low pressure area side of the sealing means 29, and thus rotational moments X and Y of axial and diameter directions generated by pressure reductions in the axial and diameter directions of the rotary shaft 21 of the sealing means 29 from the gas high pressure area A side toward a lower pressure area B are balanced.

SOLUTION: This bearing supports a rotary shaft 60 installed roughly horizontally by slidingly coming into contact the outer periphery of the rotary shaft 60 with supporting rings 10 and 30 and lubricating oil is supplied between a plurality of pads 50a to 50d and the rotary shaft 60 from a plurality of oil supply holes 70, 80, 90 and 100 provided on the supporting rings 10 and 30 corresponding to each gap of a plurality of pads 50a to 50d. The oil supply holes 90 and 100 which are located upward in the bearing are provided so that the cross sections may be smaller than those of other oil supply holes or are not provided.
