摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid bearing capable of making generation of resonance and destruction difficult by suppressing a vibration generated in a rotary shaft, even by using a lubricating liquid of low viscosity. SOLUTION: This fluid bearing is characterized by (A) This bearing comprises a plurality of flexible pad parts 4a arranged so as to hold a fixed space 4 relating to a rotary shaft 100, dashpot 4f formed in a back surface of each flexible pad parts 4a, and a pressure wall part 4b having a dashpot hole 4c connecting the space 4h and a dashpot pocket 4p. (B) One end of the flexible pad part 4a is formed as a fixed end connected to a casing 4g, also the other end serves as a free end. (C) The pressure wall part 4b is arranged so as to protrude between fixed/free ends of adjacent each flexible pad part 4a. (D) The flexible pad part 4a generates deflection by a differential pressure between the space 4h and the dashpot pocket 4o generated by the dashpot 4f.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a journal bearing having a mechanism to ensure a feed amount of lubrication oil preventing the occurrence of a seizure accident as incurring of a friction loss at a journal bearing being reduced. SOLUTION: A journal bearing 1 has an inner peripheral surface 1b to rotatably support the main shaft 10 of a rotary machine and has a feed oil hole 1a to feed lubrication oil to a gap 15 between the main shaft 10 and the inner peripheral surface 1b. The opening 1c on the inner peripheral side of the feed oil hole 1a is arranged further near the horizontal side surface passing through the central line than the vertical surface, passing through the central line of the bearing 1. Regarding the opening 1c on the inner peripheral side of the feed oil hole 1a, a notch 1d is formed in a position situated downstream of the rotation direction of the main spindle 10. Since the opening 1c on the inner peripheral side is formed closer to the horizontal side, lubrication oil is prevented from filling in the upper half part of the bearing. Further, by the notch 1d, lubrication oil in an amount necessary enough to allow normal lubrication at the lower half part of the bearing is fed.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-aligning journal bearing and an alignment control system for it whereby it is practicable to prevent damage and seizure of a bearing by reducing the relative inclination of a rotary shaft and a bearing metal through exertion of the auto-aligning function even in case generation of damage or seizure is likely because a large frictional resistance has enlarged the relative inclination without requiring a reduction of the friction resistance of a spherical seat to such a degree as bringing about a problem for supporting the rotary shaft. SOLUTION: This self-aligning journal bearing 10 is equipped with a supporting ring 13, bearing casing 14, and a bearing metal 12 which is furnished at the inside surface with a bearing surface to support a rotary shaft 11 and at the peripheral surface with a spherical seat supported by the ring 13. Between the supporting parts of the casing 14 and ring 13, linear devices 15 and 16 are interposed which have such shapes as putting the two members in point contact or line contact indirectly. In lieu of such liner devices 15 and 16, it may be accepted to adopt a liner device equipped with a heat emitting body to which current is fed when necessary.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the limit of use of a slide bearing concerning peripheral speed of a rotary part and facial pressure of the bearing by cooling a fluid film of a slide part by lubricating fluid which seeps through porous members mounted in an inlet part and an outlet part of a slide face. SOLUTION: Porous members 5, 5 provided on a surface of a front end F of a tapered part 2A of a bearing pad 2 and a surface of a land part 2B are attached to a main body part of a bearing pad 2 by using bolts. Fluid supply ports 6, 6 are opened on rear surfaces of these front and rear porous members 5, 5, respectively, and lubricating fluid having a low temperature is supplied into these fluid supply ports 6, 6 through a fluid supply passage 7 from the outside. At this time, since pressure of a fluid film on surfaces of a front end part F and a rear end part R of the bearing pad 2 is low, the fluid supplied on the rear surface of the porous member 5 through the fluid supply passage 7 and the fluid supply port 6 passes the porous member 5 and is supplied to a surface of a bearing surface. Consequently, the fluid film having a high temperature is cooled, thereby preventing burning.
