    • PURPOSE: To appropriately control the capacity or capability of a compressor which has such a characteristic that its sucked flow becomes a pulsating one, by supercharging the compressor with a pulsating flow synchronized with the pulsation of the compressor.
      CONSTITUTION: A rotary compressor W has such a characteristic that its sucked flow becomes a pulsating one. A vibratory compressor U is connected upstream to the rotary compressor W. The volume of the cylinder 102 of the compressor U is changed by the action of a piston 101 coupled to a movable AC coil 105, to suck a cooling fluid from an accumulator V through a suction valve 106 and send the sucked fluid under pressure through a discharge valve 107. rotational position detector 113 is attached to the compressor W to detect the instant of shutoff of the suction port of the compressor in terms of a pulse signal. The pulse signal is amplified by an amplifier 108 and then supplied as a synchronizing signal to a controller 109 for the movable AC coil 105 to heighten the pressure of the sucked fluid. A signal from a room temperature detector 111 is conducted to the controller 109 to regulate the quantity of supercharging into the compressor W.
