    • PURPOSE:To prevent an audience from looking and listening free of charge in a charged TV system, by receiving the TV signal transmitted with the vertical synchronous signal eliminated in advance and then producing the vertical synchronous signal synchronizing with the TV signal to supply it to the TV picture receiver. CONSTITUTION:The TV signal (b) of special type with the vertical synchronous signal eliminated is produced by the scramble circuit 5 and then transmitted from the generator 4 of the standard TV signal (a). Then a contrary converting process is carried out by the descramble circuit 10 of the reception side device 2 to reproduce the signal (a) which is received by an ordinary TV picture receiver. For instance, the vertical synchronous signal is eliminated out of the signal (a) by the circuit 5, and the horizontal synchronous signal is inserted to the position where the vertical synchronous signal is eliminated. At the same time, the TV signal (b) of special type is produced by adding the ID signal (discrimination signal) composed of the special code into the vertical blanking. In such way, looking and listening free of charge can be prevented in a charged TV system.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a function of projecting a sub-screen on a main screen using a general TV receiver by equipping a television TV signal recording-reproducing part and video-signal compressing synthesizer which mixes two video signals. CONSTITUTION:Outpus PB of TV signal demodulator circuit 25 of VTR23 recording and reproducing a TV signal is inputted to video signal compressing synthesizer 36. Output video signal PA of TV signal demodulator circuit 32 of TV receiver 24 is inputted to synthesizer 36. Receiving two different inputs, video signals PA and PB, synthesizer 36 compresses signal PB to a quarter in screen ratio and replaces one part of signal PA with the compressed signal PB to mix signals PA and PB, thereby outputting signal P0. Then, a video signal inputted to video signal processing circuit 33 via signal change-over circuit 35 of TV receiver 24 is substituted with composite signal P0, so that a composite screen with a sub-screen inserted partially will be projected. Consequently, a general TV receiver is enabled to project a picture with the sub-screen inserted into the main screen.

    • PURPOSE:To ensure the accurate grasp of the coupling time to save the unnecessary time as well as to secure the effective working of the center in the system through which the video or aural information stored in the center is transmitted by the request of the terminal unit, by securing an automatic display of the coupling via the power source ON of the terminal. CONSTITUTION:The following component units are provided: transmission devices 3-4 which transmit the stored video or aural information; the center system including both transmission devices 2; and terminal units A-N which contain keyboard 14 to supply the request information and transmisstion/reception device 9. Units A-N are coupled with the center system via modulators 10a-10n and 13a-13n plus demodulators 11a-11n and 12a-12n respectively. Then the circuit is provided to device 9 of units A-N to encode the genre of keyboard 14. Thus, the input is blocked for keyboard 14 before and after of the make and break of the power source and also the code indicating the make or break of the power source is sent to the center system in several times. At the center system, the code is decided to form a link, thus the stored and specified information being transmitted.
