    • PURPOSE:To control the leakage of coolant by the use of the coolant by providing a coolant supply passage for controlling the leakage of the coolant from the gap between a channel box and a lower tie plate when a fuel assembly is charged in a reactor core. CONSTITUTION:An lower tie plate 3 is equipped with a fuel support part 4 and a lower nozzle 10 and a space 11 is formed like a cylindrical body in the inside of the nozzle 10. The support part 4 covers the upper part of the space 11, attached to the upper end of the nozzle 10 and has a rib 6 for mutually connecting many bosses 5 and neighboring bosses 5 having holes 7 in which the lower end plugs of fuel rods or water rods are inserted. Cooling water flowing-in holes 8 are formed by the outer wall of the bosses 5 and the side wall of the ribs 6. Further, the outlet of cooling water jetting holes 9 are arranged in parallel to the holes 7 and the outside face 16A of the tie plate 3 arranged on the utmost circumference. The axis center of the jetting holes 9 is inclined at an angle of theta to the outside side face 16A of the tie plate 3. Therefore, the leakage of the coolant from the tie plate 3 and a channel box can considerably be controlled.

    • PURPOSE: To permit to keep a flame effectively and effect the lower NOx combustion in a combustion chamber at the head of a combustor by a method wherein fuel is injected at the position of an eddy flow area of head of the combustion chamber and after the air jetting portion from the outer wall of inner cylinder of the combustion chamber.
CONSTITUTION: At first, the air 16 is introduced into the gap between an outer cylinder 1 and the inner cylinder 5 of a combustor, then, the air 10a, 11a, 12a, 13a, 14a, is introduced into a combustion chamber from the group of air leading holes which are provided at the wall surface of the inner cylinder 5, an inner cylinder cap 8 and inner cylinder cone 6. On the other hand, fuel 17 is fed to fuel injecting pipes 4a, 4b from the main body 3 of a fuel nozzle and injected into the annular combustion chamber 9 of an inner cylinder head from the nozzle 15 provided on each fuel injection pipe, then, igniting combustion is continued by the operation of a spark plug. According to this method, in the annular space forming the head combustion chamber, the fuel is injected effectively into the eddy flow and jet stream formed by the flowing air from the combustion head and annular inner cylinder side, therefore, the stable and low NOx combustion may be obtained by the combination of flame keeping under relatively lean condition and the fuel injection in the more leaned area.

    • PURPOSE:To achieve the optimal combination angle by calculating the shift or unballance from the center shift, face shift, measurement of unballanced residual stress and dimensions and executing the assembling if it is within allowance. CONSTITUTION:A multi-layer disc rotor 8 is assembled by coupling a plurality of discs 9. When assembling, the center shift vectors etk, ebk, face shift vectors thetatk, thetabk and unballanced residual vectors Utk, Ubk of each disc unit 9 are measured to calculate various shifts or unballance for initial angle due to virtual combination of each disc through a computor on the basis of dimension, weight, etc. If it is within allowable range, the assembling is executed with virtual combination. In such a manner, the optimal combination angle for each disc can be obtained easily within allowable range of rotor shift and unballance.

    • PURPOSE:To minimize the vibration of multispan rotors by obtaining the unbalance amount exising in each single rotor before combination and combining after the optimum phase angles among single rotors to each other are obtained on the basis of the said amount. CONSTITUTION:A memory storage 1 to obtain and memorize the residual unbalance vibration of every single rotor after the balance of the single rotor and another memory storage 2 to memorize the influence number of each single rotor and the influence number after the combination of rotors, are connected to an arithmetic unit 3, which obtaines the equivalent residual unbalance amount on the basis of the influence number method. Then, a combined influence number by an arithmetic unit 4, a mutual combination angle among rotors by an arithmetic unit 5, vibration after the combination of rotors by an arithmetic unit 6, comparison between estimated and allowable vibrations by a decision unit 7, and residual vibration after the addition of balance weight by an arithmetic unit 9, are respectively calculated for obtaining the optimum phase angle.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the vibration damping effect of a gas turbine to any number of revolution, by arraning on both sides of a turbine blade backup plates of which one end of each is fixed and the other end is pressed with springs and making them slide in the direction of revolution or the radial direction according to the vibration mode of the turbine blade. CONSTITUTION:Flat plate like backup plates 7, 8 are arranged opposingly on both sides of a turbine blade 1, one end of each is fixed on a blade boss 6 with pins 9, and the other end is pressed on both end surfaces is an extended blade root portion 5 with spring 10. When the turbine blade 1 revolves, a tangential direction bending mode (a) bending in the direction of revolution of the blade, an axial direction bending mode (b) bending in the direction of the rotary axis of the blade and a rocking mode (c) rocking in the radial direction of the blade are caused, and the backup plates 7, 8 slide in the direction of revolution or the radial direction as shown by the arrow in response to each vibration mode (a), (b), (c), and vibration damping effect is developed by solid friction caused by the sliding motion.
