Intrusion of discharged slurry component into a feed water heater 9 and the condensate filtration device 7 to a nuclear reactor is prevented by the discharged water at the outlet of a postpositioned filtration device 20.

摘要： PURPOSE:To detect the defect in a painted film nondestructively and readily, by periodically emitting light to the painted film, and detecting elastic waves generated on the film. CONSTITUTION:The light emitted from a xenon lamp 24 is intermittently projected on a measuring cell 16 by way of a condenser lens 12, an interference filter 26, and a light chopper 28. Elastic waves generated by the expansion and contraction of a painted film are detected by a microphone 34 and inputted to a lock in amplifier 20. The input signal from the microphone 34 is turned with the signal from a photocoupler 36, which is synchronized with the light chopper 28, and amplified by the amplifier 20. The result is displayed on a recorder 22. Thus the defects in the painted film are readily detected nondestructively.

As a result, the dissolution of the above-described oxide is accelerated and the corrosion and damage of the base metal are suppressed by the combination of decrease in the concn. of the dissolved O2 in the water on the cathode in the electrolytic cell and the dissolution of the gaseous H2. In other words, according to said method, the oxide is dissolved away without using chemical which may induce corrosion when allowed to remain after the treatment. Such method is adaptable to suppression of corrosion on the inside surfaces of the apparatus and pipings installed particularly in nuclear power plants, etc. in contacting with fluid.

The electrons are supplied to the inside of the layer 9A from the iron 8 side to reduce and dissolve the Fe of the layer 9A to Fe , which is accelerated by the complexing agent. By such method, both of dissolving of the oxide and corrosion prevention of the base metallic material are made possible.
