A cylindrical part 13 is provided in this resin coating layer 12, and a cylinder unit 14 is provided to protrude from an end part of the joint main unit 10 in the other end side. This cylinder unit 14 is connected to a buried resin pipe of supply source by a resin-made electric fused joint. An outer surface resin coated steel pipe 19 is connected to the tapered internal thread 11, and an end part of this steel pipe 19 is arranged in the gas meter. A ground exposed part of the joint main unit 10 is covered with a protecting cover 17. In this way, the steel pipe 19, even when it is heated in a fire, is cooled by a buried part of the joint main unit 10, to hold safety in a fire.

At this time, the stopper 40 is fitted to the outer periphery of the pipe 50 by the elastic resilience of the packing 30 and a retainer ring 44. Then, when the nut 20 is slided to the fitting main frame 10, a stopper ring 11 is shrinked and fitted into a really-fastening annular groove 22 in the nut 20 to lock the nut 20 to the main body 10.
