    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an expansible joint to stably telescope for a long time without getting soil into a sliding portion and without a problem of corrosion, by closely contacting a tubular expansion cover, of which main component is rubber to be impervious to fluid, to the periphery of an expansible joint by at least on both ends. SOLUTION: Swivel joints 10, 10 are screwed and connected to each of ends between pipings A and B, which are objects to be connected. Oscillating pipes 17, 17 of the swivel joints 10, 10 are connected with an expansible joint 20. The expansible joint 20 is constituted by hermetically connecting to be capable of sliding a relatively longitudinal outer cylindrical tube 21 and an inner cylindrical tube 22 having smooth surfaces. One end of the outer cylindrical rube 21 is connected with the oscillating pipe 17 and the other end thereof is connected with a packing housing 30 of an expansive/contractive coupling portion. A protective cover has an inner diameter close to an outer diameter of the inner cylindrical tube 22 and is weaved of fibers made of chloroprene rubber. The inner diameter of the protective cover is stretched to hermetically cover the pipelines A, B. Both ends of the covers 60 is banded with the pipelines A, B by bands 61, 62 to hold water-tightness.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain fire resisting performance while solving a problem of corrosion, by providing a resin coating layer in an outer surface of a joint main unit, providing an end part of the resin coating layer in a cylinder unit fusion- connected to a thermoplastic resin pipe, and covering the resin coating layer in an on-ground rise up part of a joint main unit with a protecting cover having weather resistance. SOLUTION: A joint main unit 10 of a riser pipe joint for connecting a gas meter is provided with a connecting tapered internal thread 11 in one end and formed with a resin coating layer 12 in an outer surface. A cylindrical part 13 is provided in this resin coating layer 12, and a cylinder unit 14 is provided to protrude from an end part of the joint main unit 10 in the other end side. This cylinder unit 14 is connected to a buried resin pipe of supply source by a resin-made electric fused joint. An outer surface resin coated steel pipe 19 is connected to the tapered internal thread 11, and an end part of this steel pipe 19 is arranged in the gas meter. A ground exposed part of the joint main unit 10 is covered with a protecting cover 17. In this way, the steel pipe 19, even when it is heated in a fire, is cooled by a buried part of the joint main unit 10, to hold safety in a fire.

SOLUTION: In stoppers 30 and 60 and pipe joints 1 and 52 using the stoppers which are accommodated in an inclined inner surface 24 of the joint having the diameter gradually smaller toward the insertion port side of a pipe, and locked to an outer face of a connection pipe 11 to prevent extraction of the pipe fitted in the joint, a large number of biting teeth 33 and 63 are protruded on an inner circumferential surface of a C-shaped ring-like member having a notch in a part of the circumference on the axial side with appropriate intervals in the circumferential and axial directions so that the stoppers are contracted by the wedge effect by the inclined inner surface 24 of the joint to prevent extraction of the connection pipe. The stoppers for pipe joint comprise an inner stopper member 61 having a large number of biting teeth with appropriate intervals in the circumferential and axial directions on the inner circumferential surface, and provided with notches in a part of the circumference direction and a holder member 62 covering the inner stopper member, abutted on the inclined inner surface of the joint, and having a notch in a part of the circumference.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slip-on pipe joint of simple and reliable construction which compresses a seal member, provides a secure sealing and can prevent a slipping-off, just by insertion of a bellows type pipe into the joint main body. SOLUTION: In the slip-on pipe joint 16 which joints the bellows type pipe F having a concave and a convex 18, 20 in corrugated form around the periphery, the pipe joint comprising: a joint main body 26 wherein a pipe insertion aperture 24 is formed in step-wise to insert the bellows type pipe; an entrance main section 30 wherein a pipe insertion opening 28 is formed and a guide member 32 inscribed in the pipe insertion aperture is provided slidably in the longitudinal direction; a low rigid ring real member 36 which is installed in the pipe insertion aperture and keeps close contact with the periphery of the bellows type pipe F at the nose portion when pressed by the insertion of the guide member; a retainer member 40 which is installed in the pipe insertion aperture and engages with a recess of the bellows type pipe when the guide member is inserted; and an engagement member 52 which is mounted on the guide member and engages with the inner wall of the pipe insertion aperture when the guide member is inserted in the pipe insertion aperture. Because of these construction, just by insertion of the bellows type pipe into the joint main body, the seal member is compressed, provides a firm sealing, and is prevented from the slipping-off.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively seal a bellows pipe and to prevent the bellows pipe from slipping of by compressing a packing and pressing a slip-off preventing member by a spring released from the compressed state only by inserting the bellows pipe in a joint body. SOLUTION: This bell-and-spigot pipe joint comprises, inside a joint body, a spring 30 sprung in an axial direction, a guide 20 for holding the spring 30 in the compressed state, and a packing 41 compressed by the elongation of the spring 30. The packing 41 is compressed by releasing the compression holding state of the spring 30 by a bellows pipe 40 inserted in the joint body, and further a pipe 40 is locked in the slip-off prevented state. The spring holding member 20 has an annular part 22 for receiving one end of the spring 30; a locking piece 21 extending to the inner part in the axial direction; a projecting part 23 locked to an inner surface recess 15 of the joint body; and an abutting part 24 abutting on the end part of the pipe 40. The spring holding member 20 is locked to the recessed groove 15 provided in the joint body, and the lock state is released being pressed by the end part of the bellows pipe 40. A soft packing or a lip packing is used as the packing 41.

SOLUTION: This joint includes a joint main body in which a packing chamber is formed on the inner surface of the open end, an annular packing accommodated in the packing chamber, an annular retainer abutting on the axial outside surface of the packing, a push ring which is screw-engaged with the joint main body to press the packing through the retainer, and forms a first taper surface which is open opposite to the packing chamber and gradually decreased in inside diameter as it goes toward the opposite side to the opening, and a stop ring in which a second taper surface which is a ring-like body obtained by partially cutting the circumference, and inclined in the same direction as the first taper surface of the push ring to be brought into sliding contact with the first taper surface is formed on the outer periphery and a projected part which bites into the outer peripheral part of a pipe to be connected by reduction in diameter is formed on the inner periphery, and the projecting part is formed in plural places of the stop ring in the circumferential direction.
