    • PURPOSE:To enable continuous variations in the size of a display board, by making a display board comprise a pair of rolls for supporting a sheet of the display board, and a roll located between the pair of rolls and capable of verti cal or horizontal continuous movements. CONSTITUTION:A sheet form display board 2 in an optical reading system, a pair of rollers 8, 9 for moving the board 2 in the directions of arrows, and a roller 57 moved in the directions of arrows for varying the horizontal size of the board 2 are provided in a casing 1. Before reading, recording or other operations, the horizontal size of the display board 2 is preliminarily varied by moving the roller 57 in the directions of the arrows according to a signal from a console panel. The continuous variations in the shape (the horizontal size or vertical size) of the display board according to the signal from the console panel enable this electronic blackboard device to be used even in a limited space, and enhances markedly the efficiency in using the device.

    • PURPOSE:To remove a magnet roll in a sleeve, to distribute only a toner by using a magnetic brush seal to the surface of the sleeve, and also to develop an electrostatic image which is capable of recording of a high picture quality, by forming a magnetic brush by adsorbing a carrier contained in a developer to a magnet of the surface of a toner carrying body, and forming a toner vessel so as to contain an area surrounded by the magnetic brush. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve 11 is connected to a bias power source 20 without having a magnet roll 4. Subsequently, rod-shaped magnets 12, 13 are provided opposingly and fixed so as to be close to the surface of the sleeve 11, a magnetic carrier is adsorbed to the magnets 12, 13, the respective magnetic brushes are formed, and the magnetic brush is slid and moved against the surface of the sleeve. A toner vessel is formed so as to contain an area surrounded by the magnetic brush, and a replenishing toner 15 is thrown into this vessel. Subsequently, the toner is charged by a friction against the carrier or the sleeve surface, this toner is made to adhere and distributed electrostatically to the sleeve surface, and a thin film layer of the toner is formed. Next, the thin film layer of this toner is made to contact adjacently to an electric latent image of the surface of a recording body 1, made to adhere to the electric latent image, and the electric latent image is developed.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a clear two-color picture free of color mixing, by scattering a toner when a developer leaves a rubbing plate provided in contact with the surface of the developer, and removing the 1st toner mixed with the 2nd toner from the developer. CONSTITUTION:The 1st toner 5 is carried on the surface of a sleeve 11 together with the 2nd toner 8 and the developer 9 consisting of a carrier. The carried amount of the developer 9 is specified by a doctor 12 to secific thickness to develope an electrostatic latent image on the surface of a recording body 1 and after the development, the developer is scraped off from the sleeve 11 by a scraper 13. The rubbing plate 14 is provided in contact with the surface of the developer 9 in front of the scraper 9. The developer 9 flows down in contact with the rubbing plate 14 and the toner 5 also scatters in powder together with the toner 8 when leaving the end part 15 of the plate 14. A separating electrode 16 which rotates by being applied with a positive voltage is provided on the opposite position to the scraper 13 and only the toner 5 having negative charge among the scattering toner sticks to the separating electrode 16.

The toner consumed by development is replenished from the toner feeding part 5, after the layer thickness is controlled by the toner layer thickness controlling plate 8, by rotation of the foamed elastic roll 7 placed on an opening part of the toner feeding part 5, and held in contact with the two component developer 4 stuck on the magnet roll 3. At this time, the toner charge quantity is stabilized by applying a voltage from a variable voltage feeding source 11 to the auxiliary charging roller 10, and holding in contact with the two component developer. The voltage of the variable voltage feeding source 11 is provided with a specified width, based on the charge property of the two component developer 4.

    • PURPOSE: To shorten the time required for recovering developer by interrupting the developer at a prescribed time before a developing action is finished and continuing the developing action while the developer in a developer bank is consumed after it is interrupted. CONSTITUTION: When the developing action is not executed, a developing shutter 6 is closed. The shutter 6 is opened before the developing action is started and the developer 2 is attached to a developing magnet roll 10 provided before a doctor blade 8. Thereafter, the roll 10 and a recovery magnet roll 11 are rotated so as to start the developing action. When the developing action is finished, the shutter 6 is closed before the developing action is finished and the developing action is continued while the developer 2 at the back part of the blade 8 is consumed so that it is exhausted immediately after the developing action is finished. Therefore, the opening and closing time of the shutter 6 and an aperture state must be suitably set. In such a case, the closing time of the shutter 6 depends on the quantity of the developer 2 left in the developer bank 9 and it is emprically set before the developing action is finished.
