摘要： PURPOSE:To aim at the miniaturization of an engine by installing a reduction gear consisting of an inverted cam circumscribing a peripheral surface of a cam being driven by a crankshaft, and installing a tappet valve cam and a decompression cam parallelly on the peripheral surface of the inverted cam. CONSTITUTION:There is provided with a reduction gear R consisting of a driving cam Ca1 being driven by a crankshaft 13 and an inverted cam Ca2 circumscribing a peripheral surface of this driving cam and driven at a 1/2 reduction gear ratio. A tappet valve cam 50 and a decompression cam 51 are parallelly installed on the peripheral surface of the inverted cam Ca2. Inside the reduction gear R, there is provided with a Governor G which control axial movement of the inverted cam according to its revolution, whereby decompressing action takes place at time of starting. With this constitution, a part of the reduction gear is usable for a decompression device in combination so that an engine can be miniaturized.

摘要： PURPOSE:To attempt improvement of sealing ability when a suction passage is closed by providing the way of the suction passage with a mushroom shaped mirror valve opening/closing the suction passage. CONSTITUTION:A suction valve 6 and an exhaust valve 7 are provided to the opening of a suction passage 4 and an exhaust passage 5 both of which are connected to a cylinder 1 respectively. A mushroom shaped mirror valve 15 opening/closing the suction passage is provided on the way to the suction passage 4 so as to allow the mirror valve 15 to close the suction passage 4 before the closing of the suction valve 6. This constitution thereby enables the suction passage to be sealed sufficiently with smaller driving force for improving sealing ability when the suction passage is closed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To execute decompression operation with ease and certainty by constituting a push rod by a hollow outer pipe and an inner rod inside it whose one end is fixed and the other end can expand and contract and making the inner rod from the material whose coefficient of linear expansion is smaller than that of an engine body. CONSTITUTION:A push rod 15 is formed by a hollow outer pipe 16 and an inner rod 17 which can slide in it. A hemispheric head part 19 is fixed to one end of the inner rod 17 and a head part 18 is fixed to the end of the outer piper 16. The material of the outer piper 16 is the same material as an engine body, for example, aluminum. The material of the inner rod 17 is the material with a smaller coefficient of linear expansion compared with the engine body, for example, carbon steel. And the length of the inner rod is the length projecting by L2 than the outer of the inner rod is the length projecting by L2 than the outer pipe at a low temperature. Accordingly, the length of the push rod becomes longer at a low temperature, thereby an exhaust valve is opened, being operated by an decompression surface of a cam. At a high temperature, it contracts and only the outer pipe operates.
