    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor blade of a wind turbine generator system and its manufacturing method, for restraining heating reaction in manufacture, and reducing a danger of waviness of a roving web of an inner part.
      SOLUTION: In this rotor blade 10 of the wind turbine generator system, the rotor blade has an outer shell and support structures 14 and 16 joined to the outer shell. The support structures 14 and 16 include a plurality of components 24 inserted into and joined to the support structures 14 and 16 so as to form a support structure for hindering deformation of the roving web of the support structures 14 and 16. The components 24 and the roving web of the components 24 are put in an already completed hardened state when inserted into the support structures 14 and 16, and are undeformable against bending.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further simplify a building of a wind power installation.
      SOLUTION: In a method of building a wind power installation, the wind power installation comprises a plurality of installation components including a rotor, a generator, a machine casing and a pylon. The method includes the steps of: accommodating the components in at least one container having a standardized size; transporting the components to a building site using the at least one container; forming a foundation of the wind power installation using the at least one container; and building the wind power installation on the formed foundation. The step of forming the foundation includes: burying a container into a hole in the ground at a position at which the wind power installation is to stand; and/or at least partially filling the container with a weighting material; attaching a lowermost pylon segment pivotably to the foundation container; orienting the pylon segment vertically; and maintaining the oriented pylon segment as it is using an appropriate restraint.

    • One aspect of the present invention concerns a process for mounting rotor blades to a rotor hub of a wind power installation in situ. In order to avoid high torques in the mechanical train of the wind power installation in the operation of mounting the rotor blades, a process according to one aspect of the invention includes the following steps: mounting a weight to at least one flange of the rotor hub; mounting the rotor blade in the installation situation; rotating the rotor hub into a predeterminable position; and exchanging the weight arranged on the flange of the rotor hub for a rotor blade by removing the weight and then mounting the rotor blade to the rotor hub.
