摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent reverse runaway caused when a motor is stopped abruptly by applying forward rotation reverse torque and drop of the rotational speed thereof to a predetermined value can not be detected. CONSTITUTION:A control section 1 delivers a drive current control signal C1 and a torque applying direction control signal C2 to a motor drive section 2 and controls the driving of a motor 3. A rotation drop detecting section 5 receives a rotational pulse P1 from a rotational pulse generating section 4 and detects drop of the rotational speed to a predetermined level thus producing a rotation drop detection pulse P2. A timer section 6 is actuated upon receiving a rotation stop signal S1 and outputs a pulse S3 upon elapse of the time required for maximum rotation stop of motor. A control section 1 delivers a signal designating the application of forward rotation reverse torque to the motor drive section 2 upon receiving an external rotation stop signal S1 and eventually delivers a signal designating the stoppage of application of forward rotation reverse torque upon receiving a rotation drop detection pulse P2 or P3.

When the reverse rotation of the rotor is detected with the rotation detecting circuit, controlling is performed so as to stop the current conduction in to the driving coil.
