    • PURPOSE:To brake the overrun by overdriving at a desired reduction ratio smaller than 1 in braking the sun gear of the planetary gears after disengaging the sun gear and other element by means of a clutch. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary change gear 200 is arranged between a change gear of 3-steps forward gears and 1-step rearward gear, having two sets of coaxial planetary gears, and a torque converter 2 connected to the engine output shaft 1. The input shaft 3 and the output shaft 4 of the auxiliary change gear 200 are disposed coaxially with a planetary gears 8 comprising a sungear 21, a planetary pinion 22, and a ring gear 23. The input shaft 3 is engaged with a carrier 24 of the pinion 22, the output shaft 4 is engaged with the ring gear 23, and the sun gear 21 and the carrier 24 are disengageably connected with a clutch 11. A brake 14 brakes the turning of the sun gear 21. A one-way clutch 20 is provided between the sun gear 21 and the carrier 24.

    • PURPOSE:To plan to miniaturize a device by providing at a position between a clutch mechanism and a main speed changer with a space and arranging terminal reduction gears for driving fornt wheels and a sub speed changer therewithin. CONSTITUTION:A space is provided between a clutch 2 attached to a first main drive shaft 3 and a main speed changer M, and terminal reduction gears 30, 31 for driving front wheels and a sub speed changer S are arranged at the upper and lower side therewithin. By this arrangement, an engine output is delivered to a second main drive shaft 10 with a speed not reduced by the sub speed changer S through the clutch 2, the first main drive shaft 3, a gear 5 and a sleeve 41 for a synchromesh mechanism 12, while the main speed changer M delivers the revolution of the second main drive shaft 10 to a third main drive shaft 21 through four-steps speed change gears, and thereby, drives front wheels through the terminal reduction gears for driving front wheels 30, 31. By the specified arrangement of the sub speed changer S and the terminal reduction gears 30,31, front wheels may be arranged at convenient positions where are comparatively nearer to a front portion relative to a chassis, and a special space for the sub speed changer S becomes unnecessary,a nd thus, a desired object may be achieved.

    • PURPOSE:To provide an arrangement for industrial vehicle driving system, in which main shaft and clutch shaft are connected together in freely detachable manner by means of a lock pin, and the main shaft is arranged to be movable in axial direction so that gears and synchronizing unit can be detached freely, whereby it is enabled to detach only required parts for replacement of the same. CONSTITUTION:Main shaft 9 is coupled with clutch shaft 2 by means of spline 9a formed on the inner surface of clutch at the end portion, such that relative axial movement of main shaft 9 toward clutch shaft 9 toward clutch shaft 2 is permitted. Further, a lock pin 14 is inserted so as to impose restriction on the relative axial movement of main shaft 9. With such an arrangement, main shaft 9 is set free from clutch shaft 2, front and rear gears 19, 21 and synchronizing unit 20 can be shifted axially toward clutch, after removing lock pin 14 and snap ring 24. Then, gear 21, synchronizing unit 20 and gear 19 can be disassembled from main shaft 9 for replacement of the same.
