The cylinder 5 of the vessel is inserted between the both axial ends ends and the outer cylinder 1 of the vessel, a heat resistant support 11 is inserted to the lower half part, and a heat resistant tension rod 12 is inserted and supported to the upper hald part. Here, the cylinder 3 of the vessel and the cylinder 5 of the vessel are formed of fiber reinforced plastic.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate the formation of a resin curable material having small thermal shrinkage by winding an epoxy prepreg glass tape having specific composition in a plurality of layers in circumferential direction on the outer periphery of a coil body, and winding the tape having different composition in a toroidal shape on the outside. CONSTITUTION:A layer wound with a plurality of layers of epoxy prepreg glass tape 6a containing 40-60wt% of resin content in a circumferential direction is formed on the outside of a superconductive coil body 2, and an epoxy glass tape 6b similarly containing 0-20wt% of resin content is wound on the outside in a toroidal shape. The thickness of the entire layer is larger than the gap between the coil body and a metal bobibin. After the bobbin is shrink-fitted to the coil body, the entirety is heated to cure the prepreg glass tape layer in the state that pressure is applied to the layer. In this manner, a cured resin having small thermal shrinkage of substantially the same level as the coil body and the bobbin can be readily filled in the gap therebetween.

    • PURPOSE:To exhaust the gas in the insulation layer of a ring-shape high voltage insulated coil in a high vacuum heat insulation space of a cryogenic vessel quickly by a method wherein the part of the ring-shape insulation layer which touches a coil frame is composed of insulation base material impregnated with synthetic resin and the rest part is composed of porous insulation layer made of a small amount of inorganic adhesive and mica base material. CONSTITUTION:On a plurality of the points on a circumference of a ring-shape high voltage insulated coil 6 used as a poloidal coil of a nuclear fusion equipment or alike an insulation layer 10b plastered by the inorganic adhesive is wound. Between these points, an insulation layer 10a impregnated with synthetic resin is wound like a conventional way. Thus the part of the insulation of the coil which touches a coil frame is composed of the layer 10a and the other part of the insulation is composed of the layer 10b. With this constitution, as the layer 10b is porous, the gas in the inside voids passes along the layer quickly so that the vacuum level of 10 Torr can be reached all the coil over.

    • PURPOSE:To attain a durable inorganic insulating coil which requires heat resistance and radiation resistance by a method wherein an inorganic coated layer having water resisting property is formed in a manner adapted for the electric engineering operation. CONSTITUTION:A small quantity of mica powder 1 is entangled with short fibers 2 of aromatic polyamide to form milled mica paper, one side of which is bonded to a glass cloth reinforcing material 3 with a small quantity of silicone resin 4, thereby to obtain a mica insulating tape 5. A 10% aqueous solution of zinc siliconfluoride is air-sprayed onto the mica insulating tape 5 to be deposited thereon. With this tape wound round a strand conductor several turns, it is immersed in No.3 water glass and then hardened under heating at 300 deg.C for 15hrs so as to fabricate an inorganic insulating coil. This inorganic insulating coil is examined in its hygroscopic insulating resistance with a result that reduction in the hygroscopic insulating resistance is small after 3 days hygroscopic test. Namely, the resistance >10 OMEGAcm is resulted as compared with the resistance >10 OMEGAcm at the time immediately after heating. This ensures good water resistance. Examination of the inorganic insulating coil in its shear adhesive force shows the good result of 25kg/cm , thus ensuring high mechanical intensity.

    • PURPOSE:To largely improve resistive mechanical stress characteristics against bending stress by a construction wherein an insulating layer is composed of plastic film insulation for principal insulation and plainly woven glass cloth and glass cloth for armour insulation. CONSTITUTION:A coil conductor 2 is provided with plastic film insulation 3a for the principal insulation and plainly woven glass cloth insulation 3b thereon and further glass cloth insulation 4 having a coefficient of elasticity smaller than that of the plainly woven glass cloth 3b and fracture extension larger than that thereof to form the armour insulation. Given that the plastic film insulation 3a is P and the plainly woven glass cloth insulation 3b is G and the glass cloth insulation 4 is G', P is a prepreg polyimide film tape 0.06mm. thick and G is a plainly woven prepreg glass cloth tape 0.24mm. thick and G' is a prepreg glass tricot tape about 0.3mm. thick, all of them being 25mm. wide. These tapes are wound on a copper bar 3.2mm.X20mm. in cross-section and 300mm. long by P=5 turns of half rope +G=2 turns of half rope +G'=3 turns of half rope, whereas the forming of the coil is carried out at 130 deg.C for 15h by adjusting forming pressure to make the coil insulating layer about 2.5mm. thick after the forming.
