    • PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of liquid helium by forming a liquid helium container into a hollow cylinder, and then making a vacuum container covering it as bucket type. CONSTITUTION:The liquid helium container 2 is formed into the hollow cylinder, and the vacuum container 3 is made as bucket type. Such a cryostat 7 makes it enough that the amount of the liquid helium 7 is small, and accordingly the heat penetration from outside is also small. Besides, since the surface area of the container 3 is small and extends only over the outer periphery of a flange junction, the decrease of vacuum degrees is gentle. Therefore, it is sufficient that the amount of the liquid helium is small, and the heat penetration reduces. As a result, the small amount of liquid helium evaporation is enough.

    • PURPOSE:To raise the uniformity of magnetic field by restraining the eddy current generated in a bobbin of the solenoid coil by using anisotropic fiber reinforced plastics in which the heat-shrinkge coefficient is different between in the circumferential direction and in the axial direction, for the bobbin. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive wire 3 is wound around a cylindrical bobbin 2 to be into solenoid-form and a band layer 4 is arranged on the periphery of said wire 3, thereby forming a superconductive solenoid coil 1. The bobbin 2 is composed of anisotropic fiber reinforced plastics (ERP) in which the heat-shrinkage coefficient is 0.25% or less in the circumferential direction and that is 0.3% or more in the axial direction when the bobbin 2 is cooled down from the room temperature to 4.2K. When the bobbin 2 made of FRP is fabricated, wide cloth 6 absorbed with resin is rolled around a mandrel 5 repeatedly into a baggy form. This cloth 6 is made of mixed fabric in which the weft consists of glass yarn and the warp consists of yarn of carbon group or that of combination of carbon and glass group. Then the eddy current generated in the bobbin 2 is restrained, thereby improving the uniformity of magnetic field.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the waterproofness of a stator coil by forming at least part of a coil insulating layer, a slot liner, a spacer and a wedge with aromatic polyamide. CONSTITUTION:A coil conductor 2 which is wound with a coil insulating layer 3 is inserted into the upper and lower parts of a slot of a stator core 1, a slit liner 4 is wound on the outer periphery of the layer 3, and a spacer 5 is inserted between the upper and lower coil conductors 2. A wedge is formed at the opening of the slot, a stator coil 7 is enclosed with a cylindrical can 8, and molding resin 9 is filled in the core 1, thereby forming a stator 10. The part of the can 8, which is contacted at least with the inner surface of the core 1 is formed of a cylinder 8a made of carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin, and the coil insulating layer 3 of the coil 7, slot liner 4, spacer and wedge 6 and/or part of them are formed with aromatic polyamide.

    • PURPOSE:To enable in use of a coil insulator having flexibility in an environment having high temperature and radioactivity by fixing part of the surface of mica powder with thermoplastic resin, and bonding between the surface of the remaining mica powder and a mica base material with an inorganic adhesive. CONSTITUTION:The surfaces of mica powder 4 are fixed with short fiber or particles of thermoplastic resin 7 to form a mica base material 3. The resin 7 is used in case of short fiber or particles of the resin 7 due to bond by the entanglement of the powder 4 though the resin 7 coats the entire powder 4 in case of liquid organic binder. Accordingly, the resin 7 does not coat the entire surface of the powder 4, but can fix with part of the surface of the powder 4. Then, an inorganic adhesive 5 is immersed in the material 3 around when or in the course while this material 3 is wound on a coil conductor, thereby forming a coil insulator by adhering between the powders 4 and between the powder 4 and the material 3.

    • PURPOSE:To make possible the injection of a high-resistance corona shield layer in a mono-block form by forming a high-resistance corona shield layer with an iron- contained asbestos tape attached witha catalyst which works to accelerate curing of an impregnated resin. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate-resistance corona shield tape 4 is wound up after an insulation layer 3 is wound around a coil conductor 2. In addition, a high-resistance corona shield layer 7 formed by an iron-contained tape attached with a catalyst, is wound around the surface of the insulation layer 3, partially lapped by the intermediate-resistance corona shield layer 4. Then a cover insulation layer 5a is applied on the outermost side. Later a low-resistance slot liner 6 is wound around the whole layer and then the latter is housed in a slot on a stator core 1. Thus it is possible to obtain a corona shield layer for a rotary electric appliance equipped with a high-resistance corona shield layer which can be injected in a mono-block form.
