That is, the tissue fixing implement includes a needle member 13 which is equipped with a puncture element 13a for puncturing the tissue and a fixing element 13b which penetrates into the tissue through a hole formed in the tissue by puncture and then comes into pressure contact with the tissue, and a deformation restricting member 17, maintained in a first form, wherein a projected area of the needle member 13 on a tissue surface becomes minimum at the time of puncture, the projected area of the needle member 13 being enlarged gradually, linked to the depth of its penetration into the tissue, maintained in a second form wherein the projected area of the needle member 13 becomes maximum, and is brought into the pressure contact with the tissue on the occasion when the penetration into the tissue is completed.
