    • PURPOSE:To enable to cope with various hardness measurements with one set of hardness meter, by providing the pressure unit selection set through simple selection of reference weight. CONSTITUTION:The reference weight coil springs 15 to 17 are externally coupled to the pressure unit axis 1, they are supported with the axis 1 via the spring holders 1c, 12 to 14, female screw hole 18 is placed under the support cylinder 3, the three types of operational cylinders 19 different in thickness is made removable, and fitting nuts 4, 4' are made removable under the lower end of the axis 1. Thus, the operation cylinder 19 of desired thickness is mounted to the female screw hole 18, and the coil springs 15 to 17 for reference weight are selectively compressed for required number, allowing to easy selection of the reference weight. The fitting nuts 4, 4' are mounted to the axis 1, 1 or 2 pressure unit holder 1a or 6 is fitted to the axis 1 to achieve desired purpose.

    • PURPOSE:To make easy the selection of reference weights two or more types, by simplifying the reference weight selection set. CONSTITUTION:Three sets of reference weight coil springs 8 to 10 are coupled externally on the pressing axis 1, they are supported on the axis 1 via the spring bearings 1c, 5 to 7, the female screw hole 11 is formed inside the support cylinder 3, and the operation cylinder 12 of three types of thickness can be removable. Thus, when the operation cylinders 12 of thin, medium and thick thickness are mounted in the female screw hole 11, the reference weight coil springs 8, 9, 10 are sequentially pressed to set the fixed coil spring 17, reference weight coil spring 8, coil springs 17, 8, 9, and coil springs 17, 8 to 10, for the weight of three types of strength. When turning the weight lever 21, and when the axis 1 is depressed down via the weight axis 19, three types of reference weights can selectively be loaded to the test piece 27 only with the selection of the operation cylinder 12 easily.
