Further, the values AX, Ai-1, Ai, Bi-1, Bi are operated 8 so that the measuring value converting the value AX into the measuring value by the standard B is obtained as the measuring value BX expressed in equation 1.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make it possible to change the pressing force to be a desired value when a presser is pressed into a test piece, by selecting a desired cartridge for pressing the presser and mounting the cartridge on a cartridge holding means. CONSTITUTION:A cartridge holding means has a casting member 71 for accommodating a presser pressing cartridge 41. A notch is formed in each of the upper and lower surface portions 76 and 72 of the casing member 71, so that the cartridge 41 which is accommodated in the casing member 71 from an end surface at the opposite side of a reverse surface portion 75 can be easily taken outside. It is so arranged that a desired cartridge 41 from a plurality of cartridges each having a spring 56 biasing a pressing member 51 and with the force alternating each other is selected to be mounted on a cartridge holding means. Consequently, the pressing force when a presser 21 is pressed into a test piece 1 can be changed to be at a desired value easily.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a material testing machine compact in size, light in weight and simple in structure, by constructing the machine in such manner that a presser unit has a presser holding member, and a presser pressing means has a pressing member, a releasing member and a driving means. CONSTITUTION:A presser unit 20 holds a presser 21 at one end in an axial direction of a material testing machine, and is provided with a presser holding member 22 which is movable in a first direction towards a test piece 1 and also in a second direction opposite to the first direction, and a spring 33 biasing the pressure holding member 22 to the second direction. On the other hand, a cartridge 41 for pressing the presser 21 has a pressing member 51 provided movably in a third and a fourth directions coincident with the first and the second directions respectively on an extending line of a shaft of the holding member 22 and, a spring 56 biasing the pressing member 51 to the first direction. Moreover, the cartridge 41 has a releasing member 61 to be engaged with the pressing member 51 upon the actuation thereof in the first direction and the second direction, a spring 68 biasing the releasing member 61 in the second direction and a driving means 42 having an operation rod 91 for moving the releasing member 61 in the first direction against the spring 68.
