CONSTITUTION:Radiated light of a laser 1 is changed into a parallel luminous flux 3 by a collimator lens 2, beams of + or - first-order diffracted light 5a, 5b from a diffraction grating 10 are radiated at a diffraction angle theta1, parallel luminous fluxes 14a, 14b are incident on a moving prism device 30 via lens groups 21, 22. Then, the prism vertical angle of the device 30 is changed, the luminous fluxes 14a, 14b are shaken to the advance direction of an object 7 to be measured, the central axis of the condensing light path of reflected light is shaken simultaneously, and the time of a dropout based on the surface state of the object 7 is shortened. The frequency F (Doppler frequency) of reflected light from the measuring point M of the object 7 is detected by a photodetector 9 via the device 30, the lens group 22 and a condensing lens 8, and the movement velocity V of the object 7 is measured at a high S/N ratio on the basis of the frequency F.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a sensor for reducing the installation space of the floor of a traveling body by compensating ground speed from the distance to the ground surface obtained from the difference of frequencies of transmission/ reception beams and the direction of arrival of the reflection beam detected by an angle detection part. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam emitted from a laser diode 16 passes through a lens 18 and then is projected to the ground surface from the floor of a vehicle. The beam reflected from the ground surface receiving Doppler shift enter the lens 18 and interfere with the beam emitted from the diode 18 and the beat of both beams enter a photodiode 20 and is sent to a signal processing circuit 22 via a band-pass filter 21, thus calculating the distance between the vehicle and the ground floor and the vehicle speed. Also, the beam which is emitted from the diode 16 and is reflected on the ground passes through a lens 32 of an angle detection part 30 and enters a photodiode array 34 and then the obtained incidence angle is supplied to the processing circuit 22. The processing circuit 22 calculates a compensated ground speed where the influence of the inclination of body and upper and lower displacement is eliminated from the calculated ground speed.

    • PURPOSE:To take measurements of the blood flow rate at the fundus of the eye under inspection without use of mydriatic by photographing the image of the fundus under illumination with near-infrared light as laser light for measurement and displaying the depth of focus at spots being measured. CONSTITUTION:The light emitted from a source of illumination 21 turns into near-infrared light after coming through a visible light cut-off filter 23 and is led to the fundus of the eye Ea to be inspected to illuminate the fundus. The light beams which are reflected off the fundus Ea form the image E' a of the fundus and the image E'v of the blood vessels on a TV camera 62 and a one-dimensional CCD array sensor 72. The light beams emitted from a source of laser light for measurement 67 which are reflected off the fundus Ea are received by the TV camera 62 and a photomultiplier 59a. Further, the light beams from a focus indicater 33 are reflected off the fundus Ea creating an indicater image on the TV camera 62. The indicator image together with the image E'a and the spot image are delivered on a TV monitor 64. The blood flow rate at the fundus of the eye is obtained by making alignment of the device and selection of the spots for measurement through observation of the TV monitor 64.
