摘要： PURPOSE:To enable uniform rotation to be performed stably by supporting both ends of drive pins which go through a middle disc so as to be fixed by means of spherical bearings and making the spherical bearings move freely in the radial directions of an input shaft and an output shaft. CONSTITUTION:Both ends of drive pins 5, 51 which go through a middle disc so as to be fixed are supported by spherical bearings 6. The spherical bearings 6 freely move in the radial directions of an input shaft 1 and an output shaft 2 so that they act to absorb the pitch change of a pair of drive pins 5, 51. On the other hand, spherical bearings 6 for drive move in such a way that the input shaft 1 and the output shaft 2 are right and left symmetry of point symmetry putting the middle disc 3 between, and thereby the rotating speeds of the input shaft 1 and the output shaft 2 are the same. Uniform rotation can be performed stably in this way.

CONSTITUTION:An inconstant velocity universal coupling 26 a couples an end of the second portion 18a-2 of a first arm with an end of the second portion 24a-2 of a second arm, thereby to constitute a coupling unit. The first arm 18a and the second arm 24a are disposed in mirror-symmetric relationship to each other. The first arm is equivalent to the second arm, involving the relation between a driving shaft rotation counter 2' and the first arm and that between a driven shaft rotation center 4' and the second arm. It may thus be possible to reduce its costs and provide it with good constant velocity.

摘要： PURPOSE:To suppress the circumferential and axial play of a double two-pot universal joint in which the ends of two shafts are fitted so that they are coupled to each other by joint members including trunnions, by providing pins extending in directions perpendicularly intersecting the trunnions. CONSTITUTION:The end of one 14 of two shafts to be coupled to each other is provided with a spherical part 16 and the end of the other 15 is provided with a cylindrical hole 17 so that the spherical part is fitted in the hole. Trunnions 18 are radially protruded in symmetric positions on the shafts 14, 15 near their ends. Rollers 19 are rotatably fitted on the tips of the trunnions 18 and located inside the tracks 20 of an outer cylindrical member 13. Center holes 21, the central parts of which are constricted, are provided in the shafts 14, 15 so that the holes extend in directions perpendicularly intersecting the trunnions 18. Pins 22 are placed through the center holes 21. The ends of the pins 22 are calked so that they are attached to the outer cylindrical member 13. These joint members are covered with expansible and contractible boots 23 and sealed up by bands 24.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a universal joint with a large angle of action, by causing control members and two protruded spherical ends to cooperate with each other to always keep a pivot on the plane which bisects the angle between both coupled shafts. CONSTITUTION:Grooves 2 provided on the ends of both coupled shafts and lids 6 secured by bolts B define through holes, in which semicircular intermeidate members 1 are fitted. A pivot 3 is secured by washers K and pins P lest the pivot should move in the axial direction. Control members 4 have guide grooves 7, each of which is defined by two planes perpendicular to the pivot 3. The control members 4 can slide along the pivot 3. Spherical ends 5 are engaged on the control members 4.
