    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which can improvement on-ice performance and wet performance without deteriorating steering stability on a dry road surface.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire includes a tread 1, sidewalls 2 and beads 3. The tread 1 is provided with a plurality of pieces of circumferential grooves 11, 12 extended in the tire circumferential direction and a plurality of pieces of lateral grooves 13, 14 extended in the tire width direction. A plurality of blocks 15 are divided by these circumferential grooves 11, 12 and the lateral grooves 13, 14 and a plurality of pieces of sipes 20 extended in the tire width direction are provided in each block 15. In the pneumatic tire, at least a part of the sipes 20 of the plurality of pieces of the sipes 20 formed in each block 15 is constituted of main parts 21 positioned at the center side in the width direction of the blocks 15 and deep bottom communicating parts 22 communicating with the circumferential grooves 11 adjacent to the blocks 15 and having depths of 50% or larger of depths of the circumferential grooves 11. Projections 31 and recesses 32 which mesh to each other are partially formed on a pair of mating faces 22a, 22b that face each other in the deep bottom communicated parts 22 of the sipes 20.
