    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sipe blade that provides improved durability and suppresses uneven wear due to sipes formed and a tire manufacturing method including a step of forming the sipes using the sipe blade.SOLUTION: A blade 1 forms a sipe 5 having a step-shaped groove bottom in a land part 6 of a tread face. The blade 1 includes a tread side forming face 11 for forming a shallow groove bottom face 51 of the sipe 5, a groove bottom side forming face 12 for forming a deep groove bottom face 52 of the sipe 5, an intermediate connecting face 13 for forming a step by connecting the tread side forming face 11 and the groove bottom side forming face 12, and an end part connecting face 15 for connecting a molding face 2 and the groove bottom side forming face 12. On one plate face 17 for forming a wall face of the sipe 5, a first reinforcing rib 3 is so formed as to extend in a direction intersecting with a straight line 16 connecting a connecting position 13a between the tread side forming face 11 and the intermediate connecting face 13 with a connecting position 15a between the molding face 2 and the end part connecting face 15. On the other plate face 18, a second reinforcing rib 4 is so formed as to extend in a direction intersecting with the first reinforcing rib 3.
