    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optimum transmission signal by changing the mixing ratio of two frequency band signals comprising a high frequency component and a low frequency component of a signal picked up by an air conduction microphone to a frequency band signal including the low frequency component of a signal picked up by a bone conduction microphone and putting together the three frequency band signals on the basis of an estimated surrounding noise level. SOLUTION: Filters 6, 7 receive a signal picked up by an air conduction microphone 1 to separate the signal into two frequency band signals consisting of a high frequency component whose frequency is 1 kHz or over and a low frequency component whose frequency is lower than 1 kHz. A filter 8 receiving a signal picked up by a bone conduction microphone 2 extracts a frequency band signal including a low frequency component whose frequency is 1 kHz or below. A transmission state detection section 9 and a control information provision section 10 estimate a surrounding noise level from the signal picked up by the air conduction microphone to control level control sections 11, 12. Control section 11, 12 change the mixing ratio of the high frequency band signal from the filter 6 to each of the low frequency band signals from filters 7, 8 and a mixing circuit 13 mixes the signals at this mixing rate. Thus, a proper transmission signal to a noise level can be obtained.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized telephone set with superior carrying performance and few operation buttons. SOLUTION: When a 'voice' button is depressed in an incoming call waiting state, the processing transits to a voice repertory dial. A voice-recognition section 110 recognizes a received voice and reports a registration number object of a destination to a control section 107 by referring to a dictionary memory 111. When the 'voice' button is depressed twice in the incoming call waiting state, the processing transits to a voice dial state. The telephone number is entered digit by digit through the entered voice or the depression of a 'function' button 105. When a voice input is received, the voice-recognition section 110 recognizes the voice signal and reports a numeral code object to the control section 107 by referring to the dictionary memory 111. The control section 107 displays the numeral and moves a cursors to a next digit. In the case of depression of the 'function' button 105, a numeral is sequentially displayed during the depression, and the display is confirmed when the depression is stopped to move the cursor to the next digit. When a 'speech' button is depressed, dialing is made by the registration number or by a numeral string through one-digit entry, so as to attain a speech.
