摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an electrode optimum to an electrochemical action for a measured object to be selected, and allow selection for a metal thin film optimum to measure an SPR phenemenon. SOLUTION: This method includes a process effecting the electrochemical action onto the measured object 3, using an SPR sensor chip provided with the funcional electrode 6 contacting with the measured object 3 and effecting the electrochemical action onto the measured object by impressing a voltage, on the metal thin film 2 generating a surface plasmon resonance phenomenon, and using the electrode therefor, and a process for measuring the surface plasmon resonance phenomenon. Since the electrode for conducting the electrochemical action, and the metal thin film for generating the SPR phenomenon are provided separately, the electrode optimum to the electrochemical action for the measured object is selected, and the metal thin film is selected to optimize the measurement of the SPR phenemenon.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure amino acid or γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in real time by containing γ-ketoglutarate in a moving bed electrolytic solution. SOLUTION: This biosensor has a pre-column in which glutamic oxidase and an enzyme decomposing hydrogen peroxide are immobilized, and an electrode modified by at least gabase/glutamic oxidase, and γ-ketoglutarate is contained in a moving bed electrolytic solution. A column filled with beads having glutamic oxidase and catalase (or peroxidase) immobilized thereon is put before the electrode, whereby glutamic acid is oxidized, and the hydrogen peroxide generated thereby can be also decomposed by the catalase (peroxidase). The effect of the glutamic acid originally present in the outside of a cell is removed by these reaction, and a measurement corresponding to the quantity of GABA can be performed online.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain quantitative measurement in a small area by incorporating a sampling portion of a capillary, an oxygen reactor, and an electrochemical detector in a flow cell and pumping them by a syringe pump. SOLUTION: A glass capillary of 0.7mm in inner diameter is fused and extended, a sampling portion of approx. 15μ in tip inner diameter is prepared, and a teflon tube of 100 micrometers in inner diameter is plugged from a non- extension side and sealed by epoxy resin. That tube is introduced into a radial flow type electrochemical detector through a fine platinum tube in approx. 3m. On a surface of a grassy carbon electrode of approx. 6mm in diameter, Os polymer containing Western horseradish per-oxydase, enzyme glutamic acid oxide, and bovine serum albumin cross-linked with glutaric aldehyde are qualified by the Os polymer. An output side of the flow cell is connected to a syringe pump through a teflon tube and absorbed. The sampling portion is fined to units of micrometer and is absorbed to measure in a small area.

A film of this material is formed, as thin as 0.2mum, on a crystal oscillator and a film of about 0.05mum thick is applied onto a microelectrode board thus obtaining a gas sensor.
