    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carriage which can be manufactured easily and with a high accuracy.SOLUTION: A carriage 1 comprises: a truck frame 4 having a cross beam 5 for supporting a vehicle body of a railroad vehicle; a pair of axles 6 disposed in a vehicle width direction on both sides between which the cross beam 5 is sandwiched in a vehicle longitudinal direction; bearings 8 which are provided on both sides of the axle 6 in the vehicle width direction and rotatably support the axle 6; an axle box 9 for accommodating the bearing 8; and a coupling device 15 for coupling the axle box 9 and the truck frame 4. The coupling device 15 has a first member 16 which projects from the axle box 9 side towards the truck frame 4, a second member 20 which projects from the truck frame 4 side towards the first member 16, and a coupling part 19 for coupling the second member 20 to the first member 16. The second member 20 is independent from the truck frame 4 and is brought into contact with the truck frame 4 whereby the second member 20 is positioned.

In the lower link 14b, a position 11b pin-connected to the truck frame 11 is positioned downwardly of a position 15b pin-connected to the hanging part 16, and in the upper link 14a also, a position 11a pin-connected to the truck frame 11 is positioned downwardly of a position 15a pin-connected to the hanging part 16 in the same manner as the lower link, and the lower link 14b and the upper link 14a are parallel to each other.
