    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation device for a center column provided between the center column supporting floor system parts of a structure, in particular, an underground structure and the floor system part and capable of reducing a cross sectional force acting on the center column when earthquake occurs effectively, increasing the durability of a pressure receive face, and realizing smooth operation. SOLUTION: This base isolation device for a center column arranged between an end face of a floor system part of a structure and an end face of the center column supporting the floor system part to base-isolate the center column consists of a center column device part which protrudes from a pedestal part fixed on the end face of the center column and has a load support part provided with a pressure receive face on a center column side at a tip thereof and a floor system side device part which is attached to the end face of the floor system part and includes a pressure receive plate having a pressure receive face on a floor system part side in contact with the pressure receive face on the center column side. A highly hard resin film layer made of highly hard resin other than polyurethane and polyamide resin which is provided between the pressure receive face on one side and the other pressure receive face is formed on at least the pressure receive face on one side.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insulate a tunnel and the ground by generating a slide between a backing material or a backfilling material and a building frame at earthquake time by installing a material separable or slidable by the action of small shearing force between the backing materials or the backfilling materials on an outer peripheral surface of the tunnel building frame. SOLUTION: At earthquake time, since a boundary surface 4 between applied silicone composition 2 and backing material 3 having small sliding resistance is not adhered and a surface is smooth, a slide is generated on the boundary surface 4 in low friction. Since hydration reaction of cement is restrained in the boundary surface 4 with the silicone composition 2 since the silicone composition 2 is a water repellent material, sticking to concrete is eliminated, or even if there is sticking, the sticking is very weak, and even if the concrete is stuck once, there is a property of easily separating the silicone composition 2 and the backing material 3 by permeation into the boundary surface 4 of underground water on the outer periphery. Thus, a tunnel and the ground are insulated at earthquake time to sharply reduce earthquake time cross-sectional force generated in the tunnel.
