摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolated structure for a rigid frame bridge, which exerts sufficiently large base isolation effect even if the rigid frame bridge has a bridge pier with a large height dimension. SOLUTION: The base isolated structure for the rigid frame bridge includes at least one bridge pier (14) which is controlled such that rigid connection to a footing (12) or a bridge girder (16) of the rigid frame bridge is not disconnected or horizontal relative movement is not generated. A plate-like elastic body (24) is interposed between the bridge pier and the footing or bridge girder. Alternatively, a plurality of holes (34) which have upper ends thereof opened are formed in the footing and at the same time a pair of blocks (30) are arranged in each hole. In the latter case, spring members (32) are arranged between both the blocks.

SOLUTION: This base isolation device for a center column arranged between an end face of a floor system part of a structure and an end face of the center column supporting the floor system part to base-isolate the center column consists of a center column device part which protrudes from a pedestal part fixed on the end face of the center column and has a load support part provided with a pressure receive face on a center column side at a tip thereof and a floor system side device part which is attached to the end face of the floor system part and includes a pressure receive plate having a pressure receive face on a floor system part side in contact with the pressure receive face on the center column side. A highly hard resin film layer made of highly hard resin other than polyurethane and polyamide resin which is provided between the pressure receive face on one side and the other pressure receive face is formed on at least the pressure receive face on one side.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable base isolating device for a middle column of an underground structure which allows a pin structure to be easily formed at low cost on the floor face and ceiling face of the underground structure and at the upper and lower ends of the middle column to protect surfaces of contact, thus assuring the long-term sliding property of the surfaces of contact. SOLUTION: This base isolating device 20 is mounted on at least one of the upper and lower ends of a middle column 10 erected between the floor part and the ceiling part of a cylindrical underground structure to provide support between the floor part and the ceiling part, and comprises a middle-column-side member 21 and an underground-structure-side member overlapping each other. The middle-column-side member 21 and the underground-structure-side member have respective base parts 22 and contact parts formed into curved shapes that project in opposite directions from the base parts and can be fitted in each other on their surfaces of contact, and the members also have a rubber-elastic body interposed between the base parts on both sides along the direction in which the contact parts can slide. The rubber-elastic body is formed by vulcanization bonding process and may be in the form of an annulus surrounding the peripheries of the contact parts. The surfaces of contact may be provided with friction-reducing members.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with maintenance work and to ensure the performance of a damper in any condition. SOLUTION: A first connecting member 1 and a second connecting member 11 are connected in a relatively movable manner. The first connecting member 1 comprises a rod 2 formed with ball screws 2a on the connecting side with the second connecting member 11; a guide nut 3 threadedly engaged with the ball screw 2a of the rod 2 pivotally supported via bearing balls 5 so that it rolls/slides on the ball screws 2a based on the relative displacement of the nut 3 to the ball screw 2a; and a transmitting drum 4 having a larger diameter than the rod 2 and installed rotalable/slidable integrally with the rod 2 via the nut 3. In the second connecting member 11, a casing 13 arranged so as to hold a certain gap against the inner peripheral surface of the drum 4 via a bearing 12, is formed on the connecting side with the first connecting member 1, and a permanent magnet 14 is attached to the outer peripheral surface of the casing 13. With this, a maintenance-free damper can be realized, and a large damping effect can be achieved with simple and small constitution.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a dynamic vibration absorber (TMD) at the center section of a bridge girder while taking reaction from sections excepting a pier and an abutment, and to damp the vertical vibrations of a bridge girder by traffic vibrations most effectively. SOLUTION: Both ends of a bridge girder 1 are borne by piers 2, 2, and a reaction beam 3 is mounted in approximately parallel with the bridge girder 1 in the lower section of the bridge girder 1. Rods 4, 5 are projected in the direction opposed from approximately the central sections of the bridge girder 1 and the reaction beam 3 respectively, and a vertically rotatable lever 6 is interposed between the bridge girder 1 and the reaction beam 3. The rod 5 of the reaction beam is connected at one end section of the lever 6, and the rod 4 of the bridge girder is coupled at a place near to one end section of the lever 6. A dynamic vibration absorber (TMD) 10 is joined at the other end of the lever 6. When external force is transmitted from the bridge girder 1 to the reaction beam 3, the reaction beam 3 returns reaction to the lever 6. The reaction vibrates the TMD 10 through the lever 6. Accordingly, the generated inertial force of the TMD 10 is amplified by the lever 6, and works to the bridge girder 1 as controlling force.

SOLUTION: A lever 12 is pivoted to the inside of a bridge girder 11, and a damping device 14 which is free to move relative to the bridge girder 11 is directly pivoted to one end of the lever 12 while a rod 16 attached to an abutment 18 at the other end is directly pivoted to the other end of the lever 12. The damping device 14 comprises a damper 14a and a weight 14c coupled to the damper 14a via a spring 14b. Thus, because a damper main body serves also as a frame receiving the reactions of an elastic element and the damper, a simplified structure is provided, design for damping is easily achieved, and a lightweight weight becomes usable.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insulate a tunnel and the ground by generating a slide between a backing material or a backfilling material and a building frame at earthquake time by installing a material separable or slidable by the action of small shearing force between the backing materials or the backfilling materials on an outer peripheral surface of the tunnel building frame. SOLUTION: At earthquake time, since a boundary surface 4 between applied silicone composition 2 and backing material 3 having small sliding resistance is not adhered and a surface is smooth, a slide is generated on the boundary surface 4 in low friction. Since hydration reaction of cement is restrained in the boundary surface 4 with the silicone composition 2 since the silicone composition 2 is a water repellent material, sticking to concrete is eliminated, or even if there is sticking, the sticking is very weak, and even if the concrete is stuck once, there is a property of easily separating the silicone composition 2 and the backing material 3 by permeation into the boundary surface 4 of underground water on the outer periphery. Thus, a tunnel and the ground are insulated at earthquake time to sharply reduce earthquake time cross-sectional force generated in the tunnel.
