    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine equipped with an intake manifold and a resonator and capable of ensuring required volume of a resonance chamber in the resonator easily while miniaturizing the internal combustion engine in the direction orthogonally crossing an axial line of a cylinder.
      SOLUTION: This multi-cylinder internal combustion engine E is equipped with the intake manifold 20 having a collecting pipe 21 and a plurality of branched pipes 22 arranged just above a cylinder head 2 and a cylinder head cover 3 and the resonator 50. The branched pipe 22 has a curved part 24 inverted in the direction for approaching the axial line L of the cylinder from the direction for leaving the axial line L of the cylinder in the orthogonal direction A2. The resonator 50 is arranged on a side opposite to a side where the cylinder head 2 and the cylinder head cover 3 are positioned for the intake manifold 20 and on a cylinder axial line L side more than the remotest section 24a being the most apart from the axial line L of the cylinder in the curved part 24.
